It's not junk, it's treasures...there's something for everyone to use and enjoy !! Thanks for the tour, my kind of store, Love it !❤️. Absolutely LOVE all your cabinets, gorgeous !!
Funny how small towns, regardless of location, look so much alike. You’re a gem Christine. Thank you for your generosity in sharing your skills and creativity.
What a beautiful town and shop. Your back wall is amazing! You're right the white wall and cubicles really show off your hand made goods beautifully. Well done! Thank you for sharing your shop and your expertise. Wish you much success!
Loved the tour. Thanks so much for sharing. Your lake is lovely. It looks so peaceful and serene. And 950 hand crafted items! Wowzer - many of us wouldn’t reach that number in a whole lifetime! Blessings to you, Christine. You’re one in a million! 💕
I love browsing around in shops like you have. There is always something there that you "need", or a memory you forgot about. And I'll bet the soaps smell divinely! And thank you for the tour of your lovely little town.
Thank you for showing us around. I really like the way so many Victorian country towns have that lovely green area with trees in the middle of the main street. If we ever get out your way again, I will definitely stop into your shop and say hello.
Thanks for the tour of town. Chris showed the lake during the flood so nice to see it now with the water lower. Your shop is exactly the kind of place I could get lost in for hours. Thanks for sharing
Thank you. What a joy to have a guided tour without the backache! It's beautiful and so clean. Love your display ideas. I've visited Nagambie 3 times on my way to and from Melbourne from Mackay, Cent Qld and love it. Nagambie has the oldest, family owned winery in Victoria. Also, the home of one the the founders of Grass Roots magazine fame. Meg. Well worth calling in off the Hume Hwy. 😁
Wow I really love your town it is beautiful with a lot of trees, not to talk about the lake. You are a handmaking machine 😊. I wish you a magnificent week.
Such a cute little shop. Those 1800 books would go nicely in my junk journal stash. I love that you have incorporated your handmade goods into your little store. If I wasn't a five hour drive from you I'd be down here in a flash. This place reminds me of my home town. Thank you for giving us a tour of your town.
Thank you for the tour. It’s quite interesting to see. It gives me a better idea of your creativity. You have the kind of shop I could spend all day in. So much to see and ponder over.
Oh my goodness, how it has changed since i was a kid. We as a family had our caravan there for many years, travel there every weekend and school holidays, where the new slides and and water park area is used to be the caravan park and a metal slide with a little pier on either side. We as kids used to swim across it and burn our bums on the metal slide….i used to get up early and go fishing by myself….and then sometimes us kids would walk into town and get ice creams….we actually found our house in Murchison from one of the real estate agents in town…oh you have bought back so many wonderful childhood memories of this beautiful town of Nagambie….thank you xxx
That's so wonderful Tracey. Unfortunately the caravan park was decimated in the floods back in October. It is having a full rebuild and won't be in operation until mid year😀
That was so fun! Thank you for the tour of your shop and your town. Your shop is my favorite type of shop to spend time in and look at everything . Wow, over 950 handmade items!!! You are busy!
Oh Christine what a wonderful shop you guys have. I love how you have it organized. The little tour of your town was so sweet. It reminds me of our town, we have only one stop light as well. One small grocery and two gas stations and a hardware...woohoo. Sincerely thank you for the videos, Australia has always been so interesting to me. It's hard to believe tomorrow here is the first day of spring for us, it's been a very cold and wet winter in Indiana. Looking forward to seeing your next video. Gwen
Beautiful shop, lovely hand-made items. Great incentive to keep on keeping on with my own creations. Blessings to you both. Wish you were closer, I'm in the USA.
That was a lovely, your town is beautiful and the lake are is gorgeous.Thank you for your tour of your shop it’s lovely,it’s my kind of shop, love going though bits and bobs. Well done to you with all that stock you have sown,I was going to say 300, that’s amazing and the sales you have made. That is clever. Thanks again for the tour.
I appreciate how you arranged your china cabinets. When I walk into thrift shops where everything is jumbled and helter-skelter, I feel very uncomfortable and can’t wait to get out. About the large, 9-block(?) bag at the front of your store: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Beautiful, colorful, festive without being over the top. I’d have snatched that as soon as I walked in, price notwithstanding.❤
What a lovely shoppe! I'll definitely try to get up there the next time I'm in Melbourne. I'll bring some fabric with me from Chicago. It's cold here, currently -7C with some snow that came overnight and that will melt in a few hours when the temps rise again. I love your town, reminds me of where I grew up. There were 2 street lights, a grocery store and a Mom/Pop drug store and a hardware store. Thank you for the tours.
Thank you for the tour. What a beautiful place you live in. I like the way you display your back wall. So pretty. Your ideas for handmade articles is amazing. Chris and you make a good team. Your store is lovely!
What an awesome shop! This is exactly the place my hubby and I would both love to visit. It's the only kind of place we would ever come out of retirement to work at, so I'm lucky there isn't one as perfect as this near me. Every time we are out and about we shop and hubby comes home with interesting tools for his collection which he then refurbishes and enjoys. He also picks up ewaste and does his best to repair and then we donate. I'm a messy sewer too, so my space would look a lot like yours but with a less useful sewing machine! I'm glad you have found such a cool niche that works for you both. Best wishes for continued success and joy! I had guessed 1500, so I was a bit over:) What a lovely town and lake!
Haha, I thought I might only have about 300. It was quite a shock to count 950. Chris and I don't feel like we're working, or that we even have jobs. It's a nice mindset to have, and we have loads of fun with our customers🙂
Thanks Doris. When I first moved to the country, I lived in a town with 400 people. 30 years later, I don't think it's changed much at all. We have a thriving metropolis of 2200😀
I would love to go shopping in your shop. It looks so interesting. The fabric and book areas would draw me over. Your store and the little town looks like they are kept very clean and in good repair. The lake is beautiful. It looks like a nice place to visit and live. Very nice.
Thanks for the tour. I loved seeing the town and your cute shop. Thanks goodness I don’t live near you, I would have been broke by now. I love seeing your video’s. Keep it up!
I’ve recently discovered your channel, I’ve seen a few of your bag tutorials (and your shop /town tour) and just wanted to say what a great job you do with your tutorials. You’re very clear and very easy to listen to and watch for learning. Thank you for making your videos. ❤️
My partner Chris just did an update tour. You might like his channel too. It's not sewing, but reusing and fixing stuff. th-cam.com/video/gR8ZPykQifI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8Os042EP52B-lp_R
interesting tour. we are in QUEEN CREEK, ARIZONA so different. I have been pleased to have found your channel - you're tips and tricks are great - really reignited my interested in sewing - have 6 itty bitty bags in progress. Wishing you the best - back to sewing!
WOW, I just Googled your town. The population doubled from 2010 to 2020. That's so incredible, and looks beautiful too😀 We've gone from 1500 to 2800 population
I love watching then making some of your Home Made items for our small In Stitches group here in North Wales, UK. I thought I would just look on Google maps to see where you are in Australia. My brother emigrated about 4 years ago to marry his long time love, 35 years after leaving school! He’s only 200kms away in Wodonga and that’s not very far in your vast country. Thanks for the videos, they’re great.
If only I wasn’t thousands of miles away…I sure could do some serious damage to my wallet in your store! Your town is so cute and the lake is very pretty!
Great to see your shop. :) typical small Aussie town :) we used to live in Perth where i had needlework stores and did handmade markets ,now we are in a small town in France where I have a shop selling handmade, vintage, fabrics, etc :)
Thanks for a lovely video. Your shop looks amazing.. your makes look fabulous and so nicely presented. I live in Tassie you never know I might get to drop in one day. ❤❤
Thank you so much for the tour of both your shop and the town, the lake looks fantastic and the town is so pretty. I could happily lose myself in your shop for an afternoon, a pity I am a little too far away (England). I do love your videos and now have a double wardrobe full of fabric where a local store was selling rolls of fabric for £1 each - I just need to get sewing now - no excuses. Kate x
I enjoyed seeing your shop and town from the other side of the world. Much of it is so very much like similar to familiar places near us. If I had muted the video so as not to notice your Aussie way of talking, I might easily have guessed it was somewhere in Texas.
THANK YOU that was nice to see your shop and the town we have 3 sets of lights its a nice place for tourist it is so nice i dont like big malls and to many people LOL
Beautiful town Christine... I live in Tara, so when I am next heading your way, I am going to stop in and say hi :) I just love your shop and can imagine spending quite a bit of time and perhaps money in there :)
Looks like a lovely town - you have traffic lights!!! Big smoke. We have to travel over an hour to get to a town with traffic lights - Bathurst. I LOVE living in the bush.
OH MY GOODNESS, I want to come to your store. Thank you so very very much for showing me around. I'm trying to supplement my retirement income and you have given me so many ideas, now just to get them made. Thank you again so very very much. I would like to see a new idea on the pillow/book for kids but include a blanket, just a little something to cover yourself up and hopefully get in a nap while reading a book. So it would be a pillow with a pocket for the book and light blanket, folded into the pillow (case) maybe attached with snaps or velcro? What do you think?
It's not junk, it's treasures...there's something for everyone to use and enjoy !! Thanks for the tour, my kind of store, Love it !❤️. Absolutely LOVE all your cabinets, gorgeous !!
Thanks Jessie. We love all our treasures😁
The two of you are such a productive, hardworking couple. Thanks for the tour of your special little town.
Thank you. Can't be hard work when we enjoy it so much😀
Funny how small towns, regardless of location, look so much alike.
You’re a gem Christine. Thank you for your generosity in sharing your skills and creativity.
You're very welcome Kate😀
What a beautiful town and shop. Your back wall is amazing! You're right the white wall and cubicles really show off your hand made goods beautifully. Well done! Thank you for sharing your shop and your expertise. Wish you much success!
Thank you Gigi😀
Loved the tour. Thanks so much for sharing. Your lake is lovely. It looks so peaceful and serene. And 950 hand crafted items! Wowzer - many of us wouldn’t reach that number in a whole lifetime! Blessings to you, Christine. You’re one in a million! 💕
Thank you Cyn. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour. I was shocked when I realised how much was there., and I still worry there isn't enough!😁
Christine is literally my hero
haha, thanks Cat😀
Thank you for sharing your town - it is really quite beautiful. Your shop has everything to set up a home. Love all your tutorials.
Thanks K. We really love it😀
I love browsing around in shops like you have. There is always something there that you "need", or a memory you forgot about. And I'll bet the soaps smell divinely! And thank you for the tour of your lovely little town.
We often hear customers reminiscing about their childhood, or their Nan's house when they see particular objects😀
Stores that sell hand made soaps always smell amazing!
And PS. What a lovely little town. I love seeing the sun shining on the lake. Thanks for showing us around 👍👍❤️
You're welcome Christine. We do love it here 😀
Thank you for showing us around. I really like the way so many Victorian country towns have that lovely green area with trees in the middle of the main street. If we ever get out your way again, I will definitely stop into your shop and say hello.
That would be lovely Kathleen. Chris and I love visits from our viewers😁
Thanks for the tour of town. Chris showed the lake during the flood so nice to see it now with the water lower. Your shop is exactly the kind of place I could get lost in for hours. Thanks for sharing
You're welcome Cynthia. The water took a while to recede, but aside from the caravan park, ours was one of the lucky towns😀
Thanks Delka. Nice bit of infor on our town. I don't know much about the history of Nagambie, but Chris does. He loves his small town history😁
Wow I really love your town it is beautiful with a lot of trees, not to talk about the lake. You are a handmaking machine 😊. I wish you a magnificent week.
Thank you so much Giovanna😊

I love your shop. It's the most organised 2nd hand shop I've ever seen. Wish I lived local so I could visit.
haha, thank you. Whenever people tell me that, I feel as though I should mess it up a little. For a junk store it's probably too organised😁
Thanks for the tour! You have a great shop and a beautiful lake!
Thanks Vicky😀

I love watching then making some of your Home Made items for our small In Stitches group here in North Wales, UK. I thought I would just look on Google maps to see where you are in Australia. Oh wow. Great score on that fabric Kate😀

Thank you so much Aswathy😀
Nice store and town.
Thanks Gil😁
