I'm a retired Internist, and I also have epilepsy. My seizures are intractable, and I went under the seizure surgery. My seizures were not completely controlled, but it helped keep them at bay for 20 years, but they returned. Now I'm back on multiple meds, age 65, and significant memory loss, but the surgery definitely helped me practice for the bulk of my life. I'm sure the surgery is much better than it was in 1986!! Nice video.!!
