- Recently I purchased this for £15 / $19 in a flea market in Devizes, Wiltshire U.K.
I hadn’t been specifically searching for one of these for my collection as they are usually expensive - often £100 / $125 or even more if you have the box.
So when I saw this in a sellers box at the end of the day I asked him how much - he was looking for £20 / $25 - I had just bought some items and only had the fifteen left - he didn’t take card payments. So an absolute bargain in my book.
The model is in excellent condition. Very little yellowing to the plastics. No cracked glass. One small tab missing on the ramp but that makes no difference. Some paint wear to the sign but the pumps are near mint with attendant & lamps in place. The top metal sign is excellent. No other decals were on the model. I believe there was one on the ramp side of the building but this didn’t have one. For photos see my SHARPBLUECOLLECTIBLES Instagram page.

That garage is in such lovely shape Mark, looks great filled with period correct cars too.

I have the service station got it when I was 8 years old for Christmas in 1966 at 8 along with a BP petrol tanker and later for my birthday got the Matchbox fire station you did well seen one advertised on eBay for four hundred Australian dollars.
