Unfortunately, I think it is going to be harder on Mizzou to make the playoffs if they go 10-2. Obviously it will depend on how well Oklahoma and Alabama Fare, but you are looking at potentially two late season losses on a relatively weak schedule. 11 and 1 gives us a big win and I think pushes us forward. Losing that second one may push us out of contention.
@@ultimateactivitiesdude2685 if there are multiple 10-2 teams with better schedules or losses earlier in season, just usually how they choose under a "tie"
I think it also depends on how Mizzou plays in those games if they lose. They lost to Georgia and luckily didn't drop too much...I think because they put up a pretty good fight. But Good point. Late season losses are never good. Ohio State just learned that.
It's half a season of no recruiting, no recognition, little excitement and godawful piss poor competition . Hard to generate much enthusiasm or sustain momentum like that. Better be playing on Fire by the time they meet up with A&M.
@@jmjones7897 got to crawl before you can walk, got to walk before you can run. First, get wins. Everything you said is applicable for programs that have been stacking winning seasons. If the Tigers can go out and bring home another 10-2 season, for example...then that will be huge. First a team has got to get wins. First and foremost...all the other details you talk about are details. Considering how many seasons the Tigers have been stuck around 500 getting significant winning seasons back to back is the most significant possible thing in building momentum...this upcoming schedule plays into the Tiger's favor.
I’m an east coast kid that moved to Vegas but for some reason I love mizzou and I can’t explain it. I used to always have Missouri stuff in high school and get made fun of but I never cared lol. Their colors are great and GREAT WIN VS RYAN DAY WOOOOO. Won me some money and I hate OSU LOL
I live in NY and WILL be at the umass game. I did not go to the BC game but was at the UConn a few years ago. I am thankful for it. With all the sec in one big division how will tied records be determined since there will be less head to heads. Quite a few teams could go 10-2 next year.
11-1 loss to ALA. Playoffs Book it. Still haven't heard you call me a genius for 5-0 into LSU, 10-2 prediction pre season. Beating OSU. Book it. They're not that deep. Zero experience. WR1-WR3, QB, RB1 not playing. Need another CB & DL in the portal, that's it. BBall is going to make the tourney, next year Elite 8. East is a dawg. Great time to be a MIZ fan. A big F'in MIZ!
Just one DL? Darius Robinson, Realus Georg Jr., Jayden Jernigan, Josh Landry and Kristian Williams are all most likely gone next year... One Defensive tackle is going replace them?... I'm thinking we need to get at least three in the transfer portal to provide some depth.
I agree with everything except basketball. Our team sucks. Honestly I’m rooting for them to loose so they fire our trash coach. I only care about football and I do think we can go 11-1, who knows, maybe we go 12-0
@brianh2477 3 then it is! lol. I mean we need 1 dawg. We've got Jakhai who is a RSFR, Tounkara RSFR, S.Williams RSFR, 5* Nwanerri FR, 4* E.Williams FR, Brown & Bodford both 3* FR. Firestone is in the room. Walker, Moore, Lang, Montgomery are in the room. I have 100% faith that this coaching staff will coach these guys up & they'll be top notch. I'm mostly worried about cb. Draine & Rakestraw had the biggest impact on this team. They made the pass rush better. They won us so many games because teams couldn't throw on us. Love Carlies, Norwood, & Carnell. Charleston is good, Manuel is good. Like the new transfer. I think we'll be cool, but a lock down guy would be great. If this RB is good, we should be the same or better next year. Hopefully Cook can build on this year & be even better next year. I actually think MIZ all around is good everywhere & is the most balanced team in CFB. We can beat anybody.
I hate the thought of playing Arkansas every year. I just don't care about them. I'd rather play South Carolina I know it's not a popular pick but because in the early years we were battling them for the SEC East, I love beating them. Outside of them I'd like aTm to be in there, mainly because I live in Texas and can pretty easily go to that game.
Ah cmon it's a great venue for the powerhouse UMass. 17,000 seats and all full of rabib UMass fans. Gonna be a tough one to win on the road. No in all honesty that's a terrible place for a game. I do not envy Jarod Hamilton. Just know Gabe is gonna force Jarod to cover the game.
11-1 or 12-0 !!! CFBP HERE WE COME 🐯🐯🐯🐯
I live in Mississippi and can't wait til the game in Starkville!! My husband is a Bulldog. Only downside is those dang cowbells.💛🖤💛🖤
10-2 seems tougher next season until we see how effective run game and defense is at least early in spring. Think realistic expectation is 9-3.

Why would it be harder? 10 wins and you are pretty much guaranteed in the 12 team playoffs. I think we go 10-2, maybe even 11-1

With the N.I.L. who can say if Missouri will repeat that portal makes things unpredictable

Coach Leach beat the tar out of us in Starkville just a few short long seasons ago.
Dammit, you're right. I had erased that late 2020 game from my mind.
But I think that was the game we discovered KAD can play corner, if memory serves.
I don't really care about playing Tennessee or Georgia, but I would like to see Kentucky on our permanent schedule along with Arkansas
