I was at the snow game, and you know what made me happy? I saw fans of both Mizzou and Arkansas helping each other up and down the stairs, laughing, and enjoying the game in between steps. It’s a rivalry on the field, but in the stands we’re all family. M-I-Z!
Razorback fan here: There are alot of bummed out fans in Arkansas right now because backup QB R/Fr Malachi Singleton is set to enter the portal, according to numerous sources in Fayetteville. He was a 4 star dual threat QB coming out of high school. He is from North Cobb HS out of Kennesaw, Ga and is listed at 6’1 225 lbs. He saw action in a few games this season and actually led the Hogs on the winning touchdown drive to seal the victory over #7 Tennessee, after Green left the game with an injury. He is gonna be a really good QB, wherever he lands. Wished he would have stayed at Arkansas! Just wondering if Drink and Mizzou will give him a look?!?
I’m not disappointed to see Burden leave early. He’s a 5 star talent with a 3 star level of maturity. I was very frustrated at times with him while still marveling at his skills. Can’t wait to root for him at the next level.
Tollison is a rock on the OLine. I said pre season he's All SEC this year. Hiking is quick & accurate. Great blocker. Doesnt blow his assignments. The thing about OL guys are you know they're really good when you never hear their name. The only time they're brought up is on Holding calls or the QB gets pummeled because of a missed block. Did Tollison have a single penalty or hike the ball in the dirt or over the QBs head even once this season?
These players who skip the bowl games, they should be forced to play. Why ? Because their teammates and fans have invested time and often money into the team also the university has provided the player with an education. They are walking out on all three. Their teammates, fans and the university deserve better. What about a senior player who won’t be going on to the nfl and the bowl is the last game of their career. I cant help but feel it is a very selfish move. Oh but what if they get injured? They can get injured walking down the street and they still have the degree from the FREE college education they recieved.
???? I wanna ask ur opinion on a discussion I had with some other Mizzou fans..Now that Burdens playing days are finished at Mizzou, looking back at his complete body of work, did he underperform compared to the hype surrounding him..I say yes..Outside a few big games he was more of a Tease than anything..He disappeared way too much for his talent level..Combined with the dumb penalties, etc. he left alot on the table to be desired 😊
By no means am I saying this would be the best way to go or what Mizzou should do but thoughts on Sam Horn QB1? Obviously that would be health dependent but he’s been in the system 2 years now so doesn’t have to learn it, former 5 star so he’s got talent, already getting NIL so what resources we have could be allocated towards other positional needs, and would give Zollers a chance to come in and learn for a year and hopefully step in the next year.
I love Horns game. 6'4 200lbs. Rocket arm. Fast. True dual threat. Ran for 600yds, 10ypc, 7tds sr year. Over 70% cmp. 4:1 td/int. What's not to like? He was a 4 star, not a 5 star. No idea what he weighs now, but he needs to get to 220lbs if he's going to hold up in the SEC. We still need to bring in a QB1 for him to compete with. Assuming he's still interested in playing football he's had multiple injuries so we have no idea if he's still the same player. He hasn't played or practiced fb in a year. He hasn't played competitively in a game in a years. Can't go into the season with all of those ifs. If he's ready & wants to play in spring he should absolutely compete for the starting job. He could be like Cook but taller, much stronger arm, can make throws Cook can't. He needs to work on his touch, reads, etc. Which is the most difficult & important traits of a good QB. NFL ceiling for sure.
He's done. Senior. In fact, he's got a pending lawsuit trying to get another year of eligibility. If he wins. He probably stays at Vanderbilt. But, who knows? Money usually talks.
Zoellers train is coming! Choo Choo. I watched two of his complete games this year. He's really really really really good. He does everything well. Best HS QB REC games I've ever seen. He's a next level QB. If it translates you won't even remember Drew Lock anymore. lol
@@jmfbizzle just think about a few of the greatest qb's to play the game are from PA! Montana, Marino, and Naimith! Zollers has an elite arm! He can run and move! Horn might might get the nod though. The competition will be epic for that position.
@@jdubsingletracker Montana, Marino, & Naimith. Ummm from your lips to God's ears. Montana is the greatest QB ever not named Brady. Marino is the greatest QB to not win a SB. Man did he throw a beautiful pass. Naimith is the epitome of just tough as nails gonna get you the win guy. If Zoellers hits that level...lol I'll be really really happy with a 65+ cmp%, 3500yd, high cmp% under pressure, 3:1 TD/INT, & 350+ yds on the ground. That's a Nat Ch level QB. He's really good.
Horn is uncertain to ever play football so we can’t bank on him. We need to hit the portal for a qb who actually has experience and not someone who is inexperienced.
I guessed it at Pyne for 1st, Zollers for 2nd, Horn & Glover tied for 3rd. Not sure Zollers will start as a true freshman & Horn's injuries are still up in the air... he's just on the team for practice squad & scholarship.

That's because they aren't Kansas fans. I think they separated the fans during the border war for a reason.
ZOU 🖤💛🖤
Pretty cool to hear
That's a fun story.
Love this.
I also think Haynes King would be a good addition to Mizzou. He’s beaten a top ten team and took Georgia to the wire.
Castellanos doesn't need to be anywhere NEAR Mizzou's roster. If Mizzou wants a dwarf at quarterback, they've got Drew Pyne.

Possibly. I think they're looking for a 2 or 3 year starter as a plug until Zoellers is ready to win us a natty.
Mateer is going to OU. Following his OC. He's gonna get 4 mil I bet.
Oh ok! I hope Mizzou gives him a serious look. Drink can do wonders with young QB’s. Good to see the Tigers doing so well.
Why would we want a guy who couldnt even start at Arkansas
@@Drollpanther You're the ying to my yang, lol.
John Miller! Make my day! I need it lol.

Maturity reflects the coach, look at 7th year player chuck hicks….

All the rivalry game shenanigans was so fun to watch last weekend. The kU rivalry will be renewed next year but it needs to be rivalry weekend!!
You know what would be cool to do for Luther Burden is to have a “Thank You” card with all the Missouri fans signing it Thanking him.
OOOOH Me likes the block M rivalry idea.

Forced? What does that look like?
Arnold who I'm not the biggest fan of, can run & pass. He was handicapped by an awful OLine & WR1-5 going down.
He's got a lot of upside.
Castellanos is 5'9" with heals on. He's awesome, but there's definitely a risk there.
He’s not awesome lol. He’s absolutely terrible. He can’t throw the ball to save his life and he’s soft

Name a receiver who made more clutch plays than Burden. And I'll need you to list the plays. Burden's list is unassailable.

I like Horn's high school tape, but his college tape is nonexistent. Your guess is as good as mine.
Devon Dampier of New Mexico is a good dual threat QB.
Is Pavia a possibility?
He's done. Senior. In fact, he's got a pending lawsuit trying to get another year of eligibility. If he wins. He probably stays at Vanderbilt. But, who knows? Money usually talks.
Castellanos and Pyne can fill in for Tim Conway when he's unable to do Dorf on Football.
Great we lost Marrow & Rogers to A&M. Those were two of the best players in the class...
Rogers is a loss, but we upgraded over Morrow
@g2south79 How is that?
@jmfbizzle Marquise Davis who committed to us yesterday is ranked way higher than Morrow. They basically just replaced Morrow with a better player
What’s Matt Zollers status for next season
He sounds optimistic that he'll be fine.

All engagement is good engagement, right?
John, do you think Sam Horn has any chance at the QB1 spot next season? Curious what you think.
Sure, he has a chance. Obviously has to be healthy.
Gotta say John as a student the university isn’t as good at salting as you’d think they’d be.
Is Zollers ready
He's in high school and just broke his tibia. Do you think you can count on that in 2025?
Horn is uncertain to ever play football so we can’t bank on him. We need to hit the portal for a qb who actually has experience and not someone who is inexperienced.
Don't call me Brett, lol. You've almost got it down.
So close!
FINALLY CATCH A LIVE
FIU QB Keyone Jenkins
We also need DB UCF Antoine Jackson
Go get that Wazzu qb Mateer
Zollers should be starting day 1, enough if the rent a QB after Kelly Bryant and bad QBs..
Sam Horn Qb1 Pyne QB2 Zollers QB3 Glover QB4 as it stands right now
Pyne just needs to move on

Moussa has 49.4 pff grade. Led the team in penalties and pressures allowed. He’s not good
Moss is a bad idea. He's a statue in the pocket. Zero mobility.
Maivia is the USC QB that we want.
We are cooked at qb
We're gonna be fine. Next year we'll have a top notch QB. 2026 is Zoellers time.
I think that Mizzou should start in coming freshman Matt Zollers at QB for the 2025 season
I have zero interest in Michigan. What a boring ass game that would be.
U arent too smart are u if mizxou wants moss they will get him. But i want them to get conner wigeman
Yes, clearly I'm the dumb one based on this exchange.
Ugh, Michigan and Nashville, not interested. Las Vegas Bowl against USC would be the most fun.
