Can we just appreciate Gary Pinkel for recruiting QB after QB after QB. The next one was timed to take over just when the previous one was ready to move one, A little hicup with Mauk but had Lock in the holster.
Ultimately, that was a big part of Odom's undoing. He inherited Lock from Pinkel and was never really able to get his own QB and put him in place. When Lock was done, essentially Odom was too.
Idk man the decision making in those few snaps he had was concerning. I'll never forget the hospital pass that almost altered Barrett Bannisters life irrevocably
@eddielorentz8019 I mean he was a fr coming in cold at garbage time. He had a beautiful pass that was called back bc of a penalty. Ball zipped off his hand with the flick of a wrist. He's also mobile. He rushed for 621yds @10ypc his sr year. He has the total pkg if he can put it all together. Hope we don't lose Moore.
Miller Moss choosing Louisville is a blessing for Mizzou. Guy is Brady Cook with less mobility, size, and velocity on his passes. If they can get a quality safety and linebacker they may have a top 3 defense in SEC next season. Need a QB with a bigger upside than Moss.
As far as the season tickets price goes. I would challenge Missouri to put a Georgia like product on the field before charging Georgia prices for tickets. We’ve had season tickets for years. Not sure about next season
Coleman would be a great fill in for LB3. Same size. Not as fast. Not gonna break tackles like our boy, but he's fast enough, good route runner, good high pointing 50/50 balls. Nice addition.
All those games you just listed are at home with the exception of OU. Mizzou quietly becoming a dangerous home stadium, especially if they can finish the renovations in time for next season
Why does everybody hate on drew Pyne when he had a full week of practice he was a little sluggish early, but he definitely finished strong. Seems like he has a lot of Dog in him. I really don’t think he’s too far away from Brady Cook other than size.
@ maybe against Alabama, but coming off the bench cold when your team is already in a slump. No one’s going to look good in that situation. But when you look at his best season where he got extended playing time, he’s comparable to anybody out there. IMO
I want a Sellers / Reed type player. Just a unit that can pass and run. These are the elite QBs that are ungaurdable when they have a competent team around them.
Every college team in football ticket sales have almost doubled so it's not just Missouri. They posted the nil numbers, and we weren't even in the top 25 Texas was at $22 million they spend in nil.
Thoughts on my gamecocks getting Jaylen brown? And i saw that Louisville stole the qb you guys wanted who do you think is gonna fill into that spot. I suggested Murphy last video but you are gonna have pay some premium NIL for him. All jokes aside Robbie asford could be a pretty good pickup to challenge that room especially if you can’t get a top guy in the cycle
Maalik Murphy is a HAVE to have now that Moss is off the table. I’d rather have Murphy tbh and I’m not just saying this because Moss chose Louisville. Really liked his game at Duke
Weigman, Moss, Arnold, Mensah, Castellanos, Dampier all off the board. If we don't get Mendoza, I guess it's Murphy or Salter? At some point if you're not getting anybody better than Pyne, Horn, a Fr Zoellers, or Shaw, there's no point in throwing a bag at a lost cause. It's hilarious that Daniel Kaelin is in the portal after 1yr at NEB after he snuffed us.
🤔I think ill trust our QB& Offensive coachs on Quarterback pick, they seem to have done ok so far. Not Great, But Not Bad either!! Lot of us were wrong about Cook!!😏 Nwernie? NEBRASKA??😳🙄 WTF??😂😂 Good luck Son!!😏. Whatever happens Mizzou?? Got a good schedule again next Yr!!😏😀 LETS COME OUT PEDAL TO THE METAL AND TAKE THE DAMN SEC!!!❤👊💪MIZ!!!
Kirby Moore imo is leaving Miz most likely.....Not getting Miller Moss signed up before going to Louisville means he is not going to be a Miz Tiger nor is Kirby Moore. Drink was way to involved with the play calling this year with the offense. As far as the price hike that's a bit to much to fast maybe if we made the playoff this year but season tickets are not going to move as fast. Look for some empty stands next year its guaranteed with that price hike. Especially if we lose out on a good QB.
After criminally wasting Burden its going to be tough for Mizzou to get good players. I don't blame them for going elsewhere. Mizzou simply can't have nice things.
Totally agree. OU on the road is going to be tough. They'll be better next year. A&M we could win. ALA I'm not sure that's even a tossup. It all depends on QB & keeping Moore. Losing Moore would be a huge loss, unless we get Marion from UNLV & their QB. That'd be a coup.
@Drollpanther Equal to last year or equal to what we have right now. We're losing 3 OL, 2 to the NFL. That'll be tough to replace. A bunch of guys on def. And of course Burden & Wease. It's a lot to replace. It's time for all the 23 & 24 recs to take a step up. This staff is really good at evals & development so I think we could be better. Need a QB & to address the OL issues. Hopefully Reichart is ready. Wilson & Richardson as well.
Why would WW not want contact. If you are gonna dip after a red shirt year as a top prospect, wouldn’t you be interested in offers? Especially in the NIL era? Strange.

100 percent. Pinkel spoiled us at QB.
@@LockedOnMizzouI think Drink is doing well at that position. Brady Cook did very well.
Ultimately, that was a big part of Odom's undoing. He inherited Lock from Pinkel and was never really able to get his own QB and put him in place. When Lock was done, essentially Odom was too.
Pinkel was also better at developing qbs.
Once you have established qb after qb getting drafted. At least 3. The cream rises to top. Then receivers follow etc etc.
I love Horn if he is 100% & fully committed. A lot of upside.
Idk man the decision making in those few snaps he had was concerning. I'll never forget the hospital pass that almost altered Barrett Bannisters life irrevocably

I hear ya. Chicken or egg? I'm just giving context. That is what Mizzou is up against.
Coleman would be a great fill in for LB3. Same size. Not as fast. Not gonna break tackles like our boy, but he's fast enough, good route runner, good high pointing 50/50 balls. Nice addition.
Wiki has Coleman Jr as a Tiger already lol
ku, South Carolina, Alabama, Texas A&M, and @Oklahoma is not a soft schedule.
I agree. Relative to SEC, it's favorable.
KU? Lol

No hate, but like Horn, I don't think you can count on Pyne as your No. 1 as of today. If he wins the job? Cool!
Drew Pyne was awful.

@@LockedOnMizzou I just remember the Kelly Bryant situation sometimes that shiny new QB is not better than the one you already got
Take the qb from Duke
He more dynamic

Kentucky had their number in volleyball all year, if they would have drawn anyone else I would’ve like them to go to the F4

He had his deal worked out in advance.
Hes gone to Nebraska. Was a done deal a month ago
Matt Zollars Sam Horn either if healthy will be fine
What have either proven at the college level
Miller Moss chose LVille and we can all breathe a huge sigh of relief, most of these qbs on market were better than him
Drink will never get a QB. I'm convinced.
Good riddance if Kirby leaves. He was awful.
Could have been Cooks limitations too
What about the Ohio State QB Devin Brown? No one is taking about him.
Jackson Arnold would a good fit. He play great against Alabama
Moss is fishing for highest bidder. Lets be honest
Another year, another joke of a schedule
We don’t need Miller Moss, not a elite QB
Better than anyone on the roster
