Another cool thing about electron microscopes is the beauty of recognizing fractal patterns in nature. if you look at a pebble in an electron microscope (at about 150x magnification), it will look much like the surface of the moon when you look at it through an electron microscope.

@@HawthorneHillNaturePreserve That would make a very wierd source of inspiration.... And tapeworms don't have a purplish tint under natural light for the naked eye as far as I'm aware, so it'd mean that the artists specifically looked at one under an electron microscope, which would indeed be very strange....

Turns out everything looks like abstract art pieces made of clay, wires, and soggy breakfast cereal when viewed under a powerful microscope

The hidden world in front of us. I was gifted a microscope when I was a child of about 10. I was the strange child that put things like this under my microscope. This is why I am watching these electron microscope images. I should have made a career out of microscopy. Life got in the way. If you have any problems understanding the narrator, I just put on the subtitles for this one. I also watch at 1.5 speed to move things along quicker. Thank you, Ariken777. I am still fascinated with the microscopic world, I appreciate it.
