I love how it's a classic 2D side scroller, but it has the 3D elements so it still looks modern. A tricky thing to integrate those I imagine, but it looks like it's been done so well here!
Oooh, looks pretty 😍. Side scrolling feels retro, but the visuals pop. With the cinematic cut scenes, it looks fresh. Playing with haptic feedback sounds enticing.
Not sure my reflexes are quite up to snuff to play this, but sure looks pretty! Also brings back some great memories, the whole PoP series is legendary, and I'm delighted to see it making this comeback! Great preview, James!
I had to look up what "Metroidvania" meant because you kept saying it! The first couple of times I couldn't make out what you were saying, but I got there in the end :)

Love the difficulty adjustments! As a relatively casual player, I'm easily put off if a game is too hard for me and I get stuck for too long at a particular stage. (There was a canoeing bit in one of the original Tomb Raider games, maybe the second one? That stopped being fun pretty quickly. Reminded me of Dragon's Lair, if anyone remember that ...)
