You would be surprised at some of the ones I see at work. And dirty ones can cause sooo much trouble. Restricted air flow, can cause the evap coil to actually freeze up, and can cause the AC to not work properly because the dirty ones can cause the pressures to e real high because of bad air flow...…..
You installed the filter backwards. The arrow should point up, not down per the toyota instructions manual that comes with the car and per the arrow on the cover of the filter.
@Hector Cortez-aponte-cabrera Mann! I am confused. So the arrow on the aftermarket filter should not match the arrow on the car's filter box lid? And the arrow on the car's filter box lid is NOT the direct of air flow?? God help me.
I'm not sure what everyone is saying g either if you run the fans without the filter it clearly blows up and into the vents. It's like your house filter it sucks up not down lol

Yes airflow goes downwards, the filters I have have UP and also an airflow indicator pointing DOWN also.
