Point of order, m'lud. Tapping is done with the picking hand and hammer-ons and pull-offs with the fretting hand. Point being ho's and Po's, if you will, are used separately from tapping quite a lot in all guitar styles, including classical music
I've only heard this, at best, second hand, so don't treat it as gospel, but I'm led to believe that this song is the result of Kanami (lead guitar, primary composer) tasking each member to write and submit a short piece which she then magicked into Blooming
Amazing masterpiece, especially when you consider Kanami having to stitch together 4 different homework assignments. 😂 "Blooming", still in my top 5 holding on to #3. It was toss up for 1 and 2 for a while, depending on my mood, with "Daydreaming"...but eventually held solid at #2. Recently displaced by my new #2, "The One".
More Saiki rapping (however briefly) in Corallium, which features at least five musical genres, starting with City Pop and then it's quite a ride. Hibana and Toit et Moi also have a bit of that rapping vibe but I wouldn't call what Saiki does rapping.
The guitar technique you are thinking of is what is commonly called "tapping" or it's full name Hammer-on's and pull offs.
YES! That was it. Thank you very much for the info

@@normanweaver7935 Thanks for the excellent correction!
One of many musical Masterpieces by this band.
This song has everything! Chugging bass, Gorilla drumming, Angelic harmonies, machine-gun vocals and insane tapping....quintessential Band-Maid.
Yes yes, I know all these words (Ivy) 😅
I actually learned that what I was looking for was called tapping
Band Maid! 🍺😁🤘🏻🕊️
Great reaction and Blooming is a favorite with the fans. Thanks for continuing to react to Band-Maid.

Yes. This is the homework song.
As @seizetheday5008 said, this is basically homework the song. That's cool if this is true.
@@seizetheday5008 Yep. Kanami got tired of writing everything every time, so she gave the other members some homework ;)
Result: Masterpiece!
Great reaction from both of you!
One of my favorites! Glad you like it! That drum solo and the entire second half of the song always get me!
Band-Maid. Blooming Brilliant! Thx, Ivy and Tioo!
