It's a no brainer to merge raiding and max battles, maybe Niantic are still thinking how to make money out of it first lol
Agreed, I honestly also think Niantic is relying on the GPS data from Dynamax since Shadow raids probably didnt do as well. Just a thought and why they're most likely not going to change it
The only thing that I care for Max Battles is that it’s free 10,000 XP and a Rare Candy XL.

I think it went back to 5,000 xp already for these tier 1 max battles. I wonder how much we get for the tier 3 beldum coming out tomorrow.

@@xmega9526 i think they meant candy XL. I've done about 25 and have gotten rare candy, but I don't think rare candy XL
I've received one or two rare candy xl, but it's definitely not guaranteed every max battle
The thing i like about max battles is i can do multiple for free a day. I can only do 1 raid a day for free unless i save a pass.
1 - Just about everything needs a revamp with gyms, Count. We need Platinum Gym Medals... it's been since the Level 50 introduction since we had Platinum Medals for all the other "disciplines" of the game... but gyms got left behind. 50 coins a day should be a hard 50 coins a day and not if you're 8 hours 20 minutes or 8 days 20 hours (or more) you get the same 50 coins. Multiple days in a gym should be rewarded better. We all know Remote Raids should never have been nerfed.
2 - Let's slow the hype train about the Dynamax style battles until we get some harder to fight battles. They're a nice supplement to the Raids for now, but I want to see more...

Max battles are much of the same. Gyms and ways to earn pokecoins definitely need a rework. People stopped caring about gyms back in 2017

Shadow Raids are awesome because of Pvp and rare shiny Pokemon so i take normal Raids over Dynamax 100x
Same. I'm not much of a pvp player, but I prefer regular raids over the Dynamax ones.
There must be something about 24/7 raids too. I've always wanted that. Niantic has never been much for the rural players and the cities are probably less safe to be out at all hours.
My thought was if you Dynamax a Pokémon it would act like a mega Pokémon when you use an incense.
However it would increase your chance to get XL and XXL mon of the same type.
I want hundo shadow shiny lapras .. loving shadow raids and normal raids this is just an addition no replacing nothin'
Very one sided video. There’s also major flaws with max battles. The biggest one is that it’s a whole new thing that you can’t use the Pokemon that most of us spent tons of money for. So now we have to spend a ton more money to get good Pokemon for max battles. Huge cash grab that’s glaringly obvious.
The other big flaw is that you can’t remote it and invite other people. A lot of players including myself don’t have a group of players around us all the time
You hit the nail on the head - they deliberately did it so you had to spend more money doing these raids and expanding your storage. It’s a mobile game… some of the dirtiest greedy games companies operate in this market
You don't HAVE to spend money though. I got a hundo charmander and a 98% bulba and haven't spent a dime on max battles

I think they should keep the powerspots as a low level system so people can easily get good pokemon but i think its a natural evolution of raiding in a good way but still they need to remove the limits on remote raid because that is the biggest issue with most of the raiding system is that the limitations on remote raids hurt a lot of types of non city players.

The idea of leaving mons on raids to help is amazing
the issue with that is the fact raids are on short timers
less gyms in an area would also hinder turnover of said gym

max battle mechanics are a huge improvement over raids. the only thing it needs is a remote feature

@@bigmel26you're able to do about 4 or 5 free max battles a day, whereas with raids you're only able to do 1 for free a day. I personally enjoy it. I'm able to hop in one at a stoplight and continue with the battle because it starts so fast. 5k XP per tier 1ax battle and a max of 10k (without a lucky egg) on a legendary raid. So you can get 20-25k XP a day just by doing the free ones.
Please listen to the community Niantic! We need this implemented or something like this.
I'm level 50 with a bunch of maxed out legendarys..
Me leaving one or 3 to help lower level players for raids id enjoy giving back for sure .
I like the feature that allows us to leave 'mons at power spots and earn candy.
On the topic of more control of raid spawns, perhaps instead have it so raids are always active at all gyms but which pokemon is the raid boss changes every hour. Also change how pokemon placed into a gym affect the gym. First off, change it so ANYONE from ANY team can place pokemon into a gym at any time, remove the limit of how many pokemon can be placed in a gym (or significantly raise it, though keep it 1 pokemon per person). When you go into a raid, if you go in with less than 20 players, pokemon that are placed in a gym will join the raid battle to assist (including your own pokemon), if a pokemon faints in a raid battle it cannot rejoin that battle but will give the trainer that owns it pokecoins. A pokemon in a gym can participate in 5 raid battles a day and each battle completed (win or lose, whether it faints in battle or survives) gets the trainer 10 pokecoins (50 max a day), after 5 battles the pokemon returns to the trainer worn out and needs to be revived, the trainer can feed berries to their pokemon in gyms to rejuvenate them and allow them to participate in more battles and also get stardust from feeding them berries, same function as current there.
In Harry Potter Wizards Unite (mostly known as Harry Potter Go) I remember players gathered items to trigger a raid in an arena. I always thought that was the most effective way to raid for active people, like you say in your video it's terrible when you're on your lunch break with some free time and no raid in the gyms around. Worst, when you go back to work and then the blue egg pops.

I agree with the timing of raids, I walk past 5 gyms twice on my walks within 3hrs and I am lucky if there’s a raid even on or it’ll hatch after I have passed it then by the time I’m back passing it, the raids has ended
I really like the idea of having legendary Pokémon adapting to having various trainers to help out for us solo players as the game has been having the level 1 tier.
I like the idea in theory...how to balance dynamax pokemon to incorporate them into raids would be a huge challenge...but I like the idea of no more timer...and I like the idea of certain raids going most the day at one spot...but...what do we do with the gym system then?
What I would like to suggest is that the gyms will host all the raid monsters during the event/season. So when you visit the gym to raid, you can choose which Pokemon to raid from. That will give players a lot of flexibility instead of being at a certain gym location at a certain time.
Sometimes I rushed to a gym 10 minutes after the raid started and everyone had already finished within the first 5 minutes.
But I think NN will not implement this suggestion.
I'm still not sold on max battles at all. I have to spend money to expand storage to hold yet more pokemon. Pros: I can do these battles by myself. Cons: the location of these power spots. They're at private businesses or apartment buildings. Not at the convenience store, where the public often goes and may often linger for a bit as there are actually picnic tables outside to sit at and eat, but at the local tv station - where you can't go unless you have an appointment.
Yours are on private property? Maybe its just funky in your area? Most of the ones here are still public. I've seem them at malls, colleges, and convenience stores.
What we all wonder is how hard max battles will be in higher tiers though. We get beldum tier 3 max battles tomorrow. I’m wondering if it’s soloable or not.
@@SpiritWolf209 Yep. I've sent a complaint to Niantic, too. There are two in parks that are no problem. A couple are reachable from the sidewalk, but it just depends on if the business owners or renters feel we're loitering.
@@Silvery1313 that sucks. I can see why you're annoyed. I live in a pretty good sized city so that might have something to do with it. Occasionally one pops up on private property but most of them are just as accessible as the gyms are.
@@SpiritWolf209 I live in the suburbs of my state's Capital. But we know Niantic doesn't care about being able to play where you live - you must "Go" to where the game is most densely packed
I'd like to see long distance trading during certain events that would be big. Gots tons of useless lucky friends.

Opposite end of timers for raid battles the timer brings ppl together in a time constraints bringing players to the raid. If it's open all day people wouldn't be there at the same time
I've ever been convinced that Niantic would do anything that would increase the acquisition rate of T5 or mega Pokémon (even if that would mean in the real world non-downtown players could actually get T5/megas without remoting).
I have most of the regular legendaries that have been released to this point, I only need the new ones from areas not released yet. So will only be raiding when new pokemon are released
The other thing I just realized, Dynamax Battles will need to be able to be found on Campfire before they can truly be the "replacement" for Raids.
The only reason I was doing max battles was to get the candies and the occasional rare/rare XL candies. Now they're all gone, I'm not doing any battles. They are boring as hell and totally pointless. I'm having so much more fun with raids
I think the potential for Max battles is great, and agree regular raid battles are mostly stale, same as rocket leader battles completely suck, but the question is will they build on that potential? or are we looking at another Party Play?
Once I'm unable to solo them, they'll become redundant. I'll just have to move on to something else in PoGo
Once tier 3 and tier 5 max raids come out and the pokemon start fleeing.. people are going to start buying the extra 10 balls
I miss my global community. I want to raid with them more again and have a way of better communicating and trading/lucky trading.
Honestly the extra candies you get by station on a powerspot is useless for Rural players. Even in the nearby town it's was bad. The most players I assisted was 8 in a shopping mall on a popular restaurant and its a easy solo since its t1. I hope t3 and t5 will always give candies even if you never assists someone.

How come no has mentioned the fact that dynamax is copy of raids. Pokemon go raids were here first and then the main series game copied. Why would they not just add dynamax to normal raids... annoying honestly
Yes. Yes. Thank you for mentioning the raiding while on vacation. Niantic encourages travel (ie, regional pokemon) but how can you raid when you don't know anyone, or have even a language in common. Also, what if you don't even speak the language?

When you made the comment , walk to some legend gyms and take them out I almost peed my pants. Most average players can solo a legend raid boss, I know I can’t. I think we should be able to leave mons like dynamos so players could get help. The assist in dynamic is not necessary cuz it’s extremely easy. P.s. they nerfed rare candy drop in dynamic raid, I haven’t gotten any since the first 2 days

Leaving pokemon to help out the next perosn raiding, That would be nice especially of you don't have the numbers, also because I somehow feel like the raids have gotten a little harder for some reason.

You do know that they cannot implement Max battles into normal raid battles. Just look at how the max battles work and also the max battles were supposed to be how Megas were supposed to be to you should be able to evolve or Max in the middle of battle, but on another note though they should fix this whole game so that older Pokémon should be able to do it too because even in the mainstream games, you should be able to max them out And you should be able to choose if you want to do a mega or a max battle so frankly what I’m coming to say is that if they want to implement Max battles to raid battles they pretty much have to redo the system. They just came out with and redo megas to
If niantic would stop having repeated mon events it might be worth while to raid. Otherwise how many times can you grind them over and over again?
What about rewards that scale with engagement of the feature?
I know NIA doesn’t cater to long-term players, but so far the rewards for T1 max battles are laughable and the rewards for leaving your ‘mon to help future players are even worse.
Just my opinion. I think Max battle needs to go. It's so hard to battle when you don't have enough power dust to be the poke stop to even battle. My problem is that each time I'm there to collect poke coin or stardust ti even battle. I need video that will help me out!

Is the battle to get dynamax on old mons a completely lost one already???? I think they HAVE to give something that we can give dynamax power to our old mons. Even if its a little hard to get ( i hope not that hard and definitely not on a cash wall!!!), I think it would be something nice for all of us! I got a Shiny Metagross and maxed it all the way out just a month ago, Im very pissed I cannot give him dynamax!!!!!

having 1 raid on a gym the entire day is the worst idea ive ever heard... so ur basically destroying the mechanic of taking over gyms since the raid would be blocking you from attacking the gym so in other words no more pokecoins for anybody from defending gyms...

Dynamax are still mid at best. There's plenty of shit in this game (GBL) that needs serious attention first. Adding more crap while previous content is still broken is 100% the wrong move!

i don't see difference between max battles and raids. Tap and shoots moves. Balls harder to throw. No excitement over them for me.
If pokemon is trying to make a turn base game in pokemon go that would be incredibly stupid. They should start by fixing GBL... What are they going to do make everything auto attack and you just time the charge moves?
Max battles couldve been good but they botched it. They made it so a lot of pokemon are just useless now or not meta. Been playing since day 1 and now i have to do it all over again but in dynamax form? Raiding is useless, why do kartana when you get can meowscarada or a team of necrozma. Its like they set everyone back years.

Max battles are pretty lame to be honest. It’s like 5 seconds of tapping then using your max move once. There’s no challenge,no fun. It’s completely brainless. Maybe the higher difficulty ones will be better.
Raiding isn't outdated at all you can still remote raid that's always valuable honestly the dynamax battles definitely help to remedy the 5 max remote raids per day. Honestly I personally hope they don't make shadow dynamax Pokemon so that's also something shadow raids and shadow legendaries.
feature seems pointless outside of fun side content. Dyanamaxing doesnt really add anything new to any other aspect of the game. so it being an isolated experience is mid at best right now.

Do you have any understanding that Dynamax battles raids are full odds. I had to do 330 raids to get a shiny. What person wants to do 300 plus raids to get a shiny everytime. Why don’t you play the raids before doing a video. I feel like I’m being robbed blind to do these raids!!!
It’s full odds because it’s not a tier 5 legendary which always are 1/20. Tier 1 and 3 raids are full odds unless it’s a tier 4 raid day.
@@TH-camfan567 Everyone that does a one star raid is doing like 1/100 about. Have you tried you tried to get a shiny of these raids? It’s like impossible. Everytime we have Dynamax raids I’m not going out and doing 300 plus raids to get the shiny.
@@karismith2100 That’s my point. Full odds are like 1/500 chance of it being shiny which is not worth it for lower tier max battles or raids. Tier 5 raids are a much higher chance of it being shiny and I assume tier 5 max battles will be similar.

People overlook the fact that with raids, they can be done at any time of your choosing. Remote raids may be constricted, but at least one can join a raid at 3 a.m. as opposed to local only max battles.
