The electrified turbo is not "borrowed" from F1. You're more correct when you said the 48V mild hybrid is "derived" from F1, in that the concept was used. Nothing in the way of parts is actually shared from the MGU-H contained within F1 cars, with the exception of the AMG ONE.

Headlamps were ugly in the previous gen.
