I remember my dad showing this to me as a kid at least twice, as a PG way to learn history, and coming back to it 8 years later is surreal. I have so much more context about the wars themselves.
What's sad is you could show this to high school kids and most of them wouldn't be able to match up the foods with the countries, let alone the historical events portrayed by them. This is a work of art!
I teach Middle School History and the kids rarely care or pay attention in class. But this really got their attention! They were so into it and guessing which food represent which country and what each event was! Thank you, sir, for your amazing and educational video!

I remember watching this as a kid and felt absolutely shocked. It seemed so realistic and disgusting to me. Did anyone feel that way too or is it just me?
Japan getting nuked came with a declaration of war and numerous attempts to resolve the situation amicably. They didn't just fly in and nuke Hiroshima on a random Tuesday.
In college this was shown in an film class I had and our teacher pointed out that people were giggling during the nuke scene and PEar Harbor scene, but it was completely silent during the 9/11 scene.
What's up with the kimchi war: Korean War. 1. North Korea (Kimchi) with help of Russia (Beef Stragnov) attacks South (Kimchi) 2. UN force (Fish and Chips/ Burgers) supports South 3. China (Dimsum(Spring Roll) supports North 4. No winner, Devided into two
This is quite funny. The history of the u.s. portrayed in food. Who ever came up with the idea is very creative. And the choices of food was spot on. Thumbs up to the creators of this very unique, one of a kind, video. Bravo
I remember when my dad showed me this, I loved it, I was 4 to, now I'm 11 and still, I don't know if this is animation, real life, or both... Still it's so cool
Good point... And besides, if you visit the website that the creator set up for this, he mentions that he consumed all of the food used in production. Even though it must have been all "blown up"
The Vietnam part was definitely a lax interpretation. They NVA didn't just decimate the US/SV forces. A more accurate illustration would've been the US burger and the SV spring roll trading fire with the NVA spring rolls, the fries crying and complaining about it and recalling the burger, and then the burger leaving the SV spring roll there to get beaten by the NVA ones,
I remeber watching this when i was little and coming back when im a big kid (if i did) at first i thought it was funny now i understand .p.s. Iwas born on 9-/11
I remember watching this as a kid, I was so interested and my cousin and I were trying to find out the nations being represented by the food. I miss good old TH-cam.....
the joker card actually its pretty easy to tell whos who. especially if you have any knowledge of world conflicts and cuizine. though the most obvious representations here are desert storm, 9/11, the cold war and the nuclear bomb on hiroshima
Joe Bussa Yeah, it took me a second watch through the firsty time to pick them out, but they are pretty obvious, all of it is if you can pick a war your familiar with and work forwards
I remember first seeing this video at a summer program at Essex County College in Downtown Newark, New Jersey. I must say that despite some disgusting moments, this video very enjoyable.

Teaching kids about WWII.. in a very friendly way.
Even in 2019 it's still awesome. the first time I saw this was when I was 4 years old. This video gives me happy memories of the simple times
genius!!! the ending was meaningful, too. cant wait to show this to my history teacher
Cool
Better than the 2012 version.
much
I agree
I remember watching this on my old psp. The nostalgia.
And on another note, I FINALLY FOUND IT
I teach Middle School History and the kids rarely care or pay attention in class. But this really got their attention! They were so into it and guessing which food represent which country and what each event was!

+armorhide406 I believe you are...
Still way better animated than the movie named like this.
Food Fight 2006: Good
Food Fight 2012: Bad
Glad to not be the only one thinkin' it.

What a way to get into TH-cam in 2007
The original HowToBasic.
one of my favorite videos when I was a kiddie
Wow...I must be getting a bit too old for TH-cam...

one of the best videos on youtube. remember watching this as a kid. 18 now and i actually understand it
I'd rather watch this than the foodfight movie.
I'm a HUGE FAN of history!! and this was sooo ...like blew my mind!! It thrilled me for hours!!! INCONCEIVABLEY AWSOME!!!
I hate when people get mad over the 9/11 part...how do u think other countries feel watching this such as Japan getting nuked
Seriously
You have a good point.
Japan getting nuked came with a declaration of war and numerous attempts to resolve the situation amicably. They didn't just fly in and nuke Hiroshima on a random Tuesday.
japan nuked was for a war 911 was out the blue
In college this was shown in an film class I had and our teacher pointed out that people were giggling during the nuke scene and PEar Harbor scene, but it was completely silent during the 9/11 scene.
This was the first TH-cam I ever watched, I was 7 years old, glad to find it again!

3:50 But chicken patties can't melt hamburger beams.
7/11 never forget
Well said. It also collapsed downwards 🙃
History classes will never be boring again!
I haven't seen this video in years! I'm so satisfied to be able to watch it again though. Good times! ;D
ahhh, memories, i remember watching this 5 years ago
I remember when my dad showed me this, I loved it, I was 4 to, now I'm 11 and still, I don't know if this is animation, real life, or both... Still it's so cool
Good point... And besides, if you visit the website that the creator set up for this, he mentions that he consumed all of the food used in production. Even though it must have been all "blown up"
the twin burgers where atacked at 7 11!
Dude that's hilarious
2:01 Blueagh!
That's my favorite part.
That mini movie right there is the definition of America right now in 2016.
umm... what ?
tru
This was really great, had me LOL, love the sound effects
Am I the only one weirdly creeped out by this whenever I watch it?
No
no
No, it kinda reminds me of a cyriak video
Creepy music and the antpocalypse...
this is legit an 11 piece mcdouble year old battle that we regret
If you can get over the fact that this grossly over-emphasises the USA's involvement in WW2, this is a pretty cool video.
If you read the description
Literally the first video I ever watched on TH-cam back then I was 5 and I was so fascinated by this
Do a sequel
Oh god its been so long since i've watched this :P
same, im 12 now and i remember watching this on 2012, i was 7 years old :)
+MatrixPE Gaming me too!
Can you make an updated version
The golden age of youtube

The Vietnam part was definitely a lax interpretation. They NVA didn't just decimate the US/SV forces. Food Fight to the next level!
i was showed this many years ago in school and i never found it again until now.
I'm hungry... And I was rooting for the pasta.
Darkstar 暗スター That's beef stroganoff, you commie! :)
LAUREN FARROW Aw, I thought it'd count as a type of pasta. x3
The "pasta" symbolized Russia.
Matthew Thedford Then I was rooting for Russia
***** Huh. For some reason it doesn't surprise me..
Still a better story then twilight
what's the meaning of the ending? what's up with them flies and ants? anyone?
This was the best stop motion video I've known back in the day
Identifying each action in this video accurately should count as 3 Modern History credits.
College or Dan Carlin, buck a show.
Still better than the Food Fight with Charlie Sheen in it.
Anyone watching this in 2019 ?? 😂😂
Me lol
I saw this 5 years ago and it was the first TH-cam video I have ever seen.
I remeber watching this when i was little and coming back when im a big kid (if i did) at first i thought it was funny now i understand

THE 9/11 SCENE OFFENDED ME EXCUSE ME
Isar Soussa I was joking,I was 2 when the Twin Towers were hit.
Isar Soussa This is my troll account, The Mine Craft thing is there to make me look like a kid.
Idiot all of these scenes had someone dying. They Silas somebody offended for each of the scenes.
Shut up ! No one cares

The most EPIC stop motion ever!
I can’t believe it’s still there
I remember watching this as a kid, I was so interested and my cousin and I were trying to find out the nations being represented by the food. I miss good old TH-cam.....
I watched this as a kid for some reason, I didn't really understand it now. But rewatching it as an adult now, all I can think of is, DANG.
Amazing. A job perfectly done man. Props to you and you need to do this for a career.
Bro took don't play with food to another level💀
3 months? MORE LIKE 3 YEARS, IT MUST'VE TAKEN THAT LONG TO MAKE IT FOR IT TO BE THIS GOOD!
you do an amazing piece of work... the music is also impressive. Really creative, congrats for your hard and weird, in an unique sense, work!
notice how American burger technology gets significantly better as time goes on
This was like my favorite video back in 2012
AWESOME! i loved this my teacher showed the class this since we are studying ww2the whole class laughed cuz it was sooo awesome!
Very well made. He listed the events in the description if you didn't see.
even in 2016 , this animation is monumental , only complaint is the fact that we can't tell what SIDE the foods are on.
also , 9/11 at 3:41
the joker card actually its pretty easy to tell whos who. especially if you have any knowledge of world conflicts and cuizine. though the most obvious representations here are desert storm, 9/11, the cold war and the nuclear bomb on hiroshima
Vietnam and Korea were pretty obvious too.

This is actually the first video i've ever watched on youtube, and 10 years later it is now the last video i've watched on youtube.
Two questions. 1 how did you make this awesome video? 2 what made you want to make it? 👍
すばらしい。独創的で完成度が高くて、とても示唆的
Very nice animation!! I enjoyed it :)
I've never been so entertained and so deeply emotionally affected by food before.
This is way better that the actual Food Fight movie. (reminds oneself of bad memories)
Favorited this 5 years ago. I still love it.
I first watched this when I was 5 now I’m 13 and was looking for this video
Still a good thing to watch
Never thought food could be this EPIC
i have watched this so many times still as awesome everytime
I remember first seeing this video at a summer program at Essex County College in Downtown Newark, New Jersey. I must say that despite some disgusting moments, this video very enjoyable.
My social studies teacher for middle school showed this to us. about a few days ago.
I have seen the same video mixed with trance music. Nice one.
You may think I am weird when I say this, but this video makes me really hungry.
