Everyone’s life gets worse when they have kids it’s just that people who want to be parents think it is or will be worth it. The childfree recognise ahead of time that life will be worse and accept that for them, having kids will not be worth it.

We discuss this all the time. Each of us should have the space to make the decision that feels best for us, whatever that may be.

Financial burden , co parenting with a narcissist or psychopath , entrapment, AudADHD kids, loss of freedom , loss of sleep. I could go on.
I’m glad I found this community, I feel less isolated. I’m more excited about my creative freedom My former institutionalised peer group(s) would only want to beat me over the head with their own political agenda rather than accept the truth of my journey of childhood trauma, neglect and abandonment.

I have an unnattractive family, especially on the female side. My kids would turn out ugly and be miserable.

So true! If I had kids, I would be paying child support. I wouldn’t be able to live the life Im living now.

Being child free is a blessing that keeps blessing you. Praise Jesus Christ for sparing you from childbirth. Seek God in your free time, thank God always.

Can you please share if you wanted kids and put your whole life into that but didn't find the right partner, or let's say you lost the opportunity to be with your beloved? Then what? Have regrets for the rest of your life that dreams didn't come true 😢

Not something we can speak on since we didn't have a desire to have children. It sounds like you are having this experience? I am so sorry for your pain.

    AI and robots?

Doesn't sound feasible, robots can not offer the same care as humans.
How would a robot put a catheter or help you to the bathroom, wipe or help shower you.

We talk about AI all the time on the podcast! There is so much information already on how helpful it will be for us in the future.

I disagree for the reasons I mentioned.
Also, "developing robots that can navigate the home and safely interact with people and objects remains technologically challenging. Robots can also be expensive to buy or lease, and most have been marketed toward residential care facilities.
A robot in the US is approximately 85,000 per year"
