A single house call to fix a single plumbing service requiring a couple of hours of work, can easily cost the service receiver $500. Similarly.. an automobile service is 3-4 hundred dollars for a small job. I have been living in the US for over 40 years.

Wrong: IT employment in India is 5.4 Million (i.e., 54 lakhs. Not 5 lakhs)
Wrong: India GDP crossed 4T$. Not 3.2T. If you include the informal, it's already in the 5+T range.
Wrong: Super rich is a problem only if: 1) they hide their money in mattresses and/or 2) interfere with the Constitutional democracy. Otherwise, it's irrelrvant. Adani's and Ambani's wealth keep creating economic prosperity. They cannot personally consume natural resources nominally more than commoners. Socialists misunderstand the presence of super rich.

Nehru license raj was on decline almost by Shastriji . But he was killed in conspiracy prolly by KGB to install Indira gandhi who established the True Nehru Dynasty and continued the license Raj. In this license Raj chosen industrialists like TATA Birla , Nehru loyalist like Bajaj jinadals and some ppl with talent to Bribe like Dhirubhai Ambani became Crony capitalists and made huge amount money By getting massive protection and monopoly .
Old zamindars and Raja privy purses and privileges were abolished but they were converted into MP MLA of their area. Congress is finished in UP bcoz the lower caste Tenants rose up and Kicked out all these zamindars by voting.
Biggest price india paid was we lost the decades of Free trade and globalisation. Now when we r entering De globalisation and protectionism we r trying to industrialise and export ... very tough to do. Prolly we will have to rely on internal markets now. And won't surpass 8% growth

1970s started economic downturn of the pakistan with East Pakistan which was more productive than west got seperated. Bhutos nationalisation stifled private enterprises. Zia made Pakistan addictive of foreign aid, although GDP growth in Pakistan propped by huge foriegn funding from 1950s onwards. Zia also created the terror infrastructure which haunts Pakistan till day. Until terror infrastructure is completely destroyed, no foreign investment will come up.

We've got a highly educated guest, and a host that tries his best to be objective. As Pakistanis they might have completely different opinion of India that we Indians have but we must agree to disagree but still keep our ears open and not becomr prideful.
The Chinese were silent for 2 decades, we should do the same.
In almost all Indian languages we have sayings that warn us against becoming prideful "ghamandi".

So, there is no empirical evidence for what you claim. Shahzad has many guests on where they have a critical discussion on Pakistan's state of affairs and history. But yes, in the comment section, you have Indians (many of the BJP IT cell types) who like make that a basis to take a dig at... So be it, whatever helps their low self-esteem
