My assumption on the wiring is that there is a ground and 12v to the circuit, so when that wire didn’t have a ground the circuit back fed and kept the light on

I once had a mates 4wd not start during a track, looked at everything from fuel pump which didnt sound like it was turning on to sparks to coils/dissy. Wasnt them, looked at the big efi fuse was fine, after a we left it on the track overnight we came back to have a look at everything we went through to find a smaller efi fuse which had blown. Never heard of a small ass fuse blowing like that and causing all the trouble.

By fixing the straight 8 volts you shouldn’t have any issues getting stranded like before. Devin your always going to find a way!! if you wanna go big baller get a miller multimatic 255 it can do tig mig and all that stuff but its basically top of the line from a very trusted company

Miller Dynasty 250 is what you’d want if you want a top of line machine.. if your trying to get something that’s going to do the job but save you money yeswelder 250 ( or everlast 255ext ) will fill that void.. if you have the cash I’d go dynasty , that’s one of our machines at the shop and it’s fucking awesome. Only logic to that fuse keeping voltage is either ghost voltage or when it popped the fuse didn't get pulled back high. This is me assuming when you energize the circuit it is pulling the circuit low to engage the lights in the correct operations.

Pipes look cool, checked the site, only Lancer and only a universal kit, so not surprised ya bottom one didn’t fit, but the top pipe does look sick, you should be able to find someone somewhere that can cut and extend with 2.5” Ti for that lower piping, be worth it to send to someone anyways just to finish off the Hyper Blue beast after all the detail you have gone to, be sad to see that lower pipe just be a art piece on the wall or paper weight!
Always check ya fuses first, my go to with electrical then say bulbs, main connections! remember and Im no electrician even though I did have a E Cert years ago, forgotten more than most lol, but basics are each of these make up a circuit, if one is a disconnect, then it affects the other! If I remember right before you put on the fender liners you said your main fuse box got wet! Fuses generally don’t just go for no reason, a fuse is there as a protection to the circuit that leads to the components again it’s meant to disconnect eg break to protect the rest of the electrical system and components! why it should always be first port of call, just remember a fuse is a symptom 99% of the time not the cause! So either water ingress caused the fuse to blow, or something else! Keep an eye on it if it reoccurs something else is the issue! or something in the fuse box relocation like the rear lights relay may be damaged by the water! for ex🤙
Those actuators are a pia for such a used component that gets hammered opening and closing the dam plastic they use in all of em eventually they give up, use and brittleness and not all plastic is created equal. I doubt most cars today’s actuators will last as long! I got to do one of my vent actuators and I have 3 and it’s a pia job to get to!

If you wanted to tig weld that titanium, You have to back purge pipe like that and that material of pipe, I’m not a tig welder but I am a welder, and I know with stainless and titanium and other Special͏ metals you have to back purge, otherwise you’ll get tons of problems and it won’t weld correctly. Not sure if you need to back purge aluminum piping, but chances are you’re just gonna ruin that peice of titanium lol. But if you wanna give it a try and don’t mind ruining the whole piece then go ahead. But imma say your chances of getting it to look good are about as good as your chances playing Russian roulette. But more power to you buddy!!

which fuses in engine bay fuse box are for tail lights? i have a problem where my brake light keeps going out on one side and one of reverse lights on opposite side has gone out. I should probably start by checking fuses.

And Devin fuses make no sense I had my toyota tercel blow my rear tail light fuse both my cluster and car radio dint work I took off the entire radio system and cluster trying to figure out what happend till my uncle told me my rear tail lights were off

For the love of god get a welder and some fab tools stop relying on "bolt-on parts" for a custom car, enhance your skills and you will find you can make stuff way cheaper and better. love the content tho.
