It seems to be a textured powder coat. As far as the switch goes I believe it was designed a bit tighter because wear is always in mind as andis clippers seem to be more durable then many others. Also Wahl makes some solid tools. But andis seems to last forever. Also the tools are coming zero gapped from factory. The settings are set actually digitally from a massive calibration system

I love the TPOB plays. I don’t use the mini skulls often unless I’m doing a low fade or taper so I keep em out of the way. Nice attention to detail though 👍

Just got mine last week. Definitely not loud at all, much quieter than previously released Master.

Andis be over charging. Every time I have an andis product either the stand clipper or charger breaks fast
Andis definitely charges more than some other companies but I feel like their build quality and blades have gotten better over time
