    Great detailing and your focus are pretty straight to the point that i haven't seen in other video comparisons. Even internationally, they keep driving the car, but your videos help where you freeze the number plater and do a check on number plate visibility. Very practical requirement of any buyer ❤

    You described it very well, appreciate your efforts. I bought a REDTIGER Dash Cam Front Rear, 4K/2.5K Full HD Dash Camera for Cars, Built-in Wi-Fi GPS, 3.16” IPS Screen, Night Vision, 170°Wide Angle, WDR, 24H Parking Mode from Amazon, After installing it in the car I recognized that all those promises were false, from the recorded video feature I can't even read number plate even in close range. Every time the engine starts I have to manually switch on the wifi button to get connected to the mobile app through wifi. I doubt even I might have received a duplicate product itself from Amazon because the quality was worst. I am planning to return that junk and buy a new one. Most probably I will go for DDPAI Z50 vs 70MAI A800S which I saw number plate readability in all weather conditions.

      I have personally tried both Z50 and A800S. Both dashcams are excellent in quality and provide clear 4K video footage. But Z50 might be out of stock as of now, whereas A800S is available. In terms of on screen controls, A800s has higher options present compared to Z50 and hence is slightly more convenient.

    Boss you have just rocked it.. Kudos to you. As you rightly said making technical comparison of gadgets is bit difficult and I know that you might have done lot of hard work besides dedication with passion of making YT video's and bringing it up for audiance . When it comes to this video I have gone through individual gadgets and best dash cam for cars etc., bit confusing which one to buy.. how they perform etc., Meanwhile YT algorithm taken me to your video and that's awesome 👍 you have given me exact information/ invaluable input with detailed comparison!! Thanks bro for guiding me and many more people who are looking to buy a good Dash cam. I really love your presentation, crispy info.. you have a great voice and you are too good in communication! Congratulations 👏 keep up the good work!! Very well done 👍

    • @traveltechyoutube
      @traveltechyoutube  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you Srini for appreciating my work.
      Regarding your question, its always better to have 2 cameras monitoring your car than just one. Especially in Indian roads and traffic conditions, you never can guess which irresponsible driver will come and collide with your vehicle and from which direction. Hence it is safer to have a dual channel dashcam for insurance and other legal purposes. Go with single channel only if your budget does not allow for dual channel.

    This video made be buying Z50 earlier this year, pluspoint: i really like the uses of capacitor instead of lithium in a800. After almost a year, i would say there are occasions that I'm trying to get license plate of the offender in low light while the car is moving 90-100kmh, and it is slightly blurry but not in the way that is unreadable. You still can get plate number by going through frame to frame to adjust like is it 8 or B or 9? I believe all dahscams have the same issue, regardless, i always amazed by the dashcam videos i saw on Facebook with A800, looks much prettier than my Z50 honestly. But the fact that it struggling with lowlights perhaps can be dealbreaker for me. Still loving my unit 😁

    Wow. This is the most comprehensive and detailed comparision. It is clear that ddpai z50 is the winner in premium segment (except maybe viofo) and nexdigitron is a clear winner in budget segment. But maybe next generation dashcams with better optics can provide even better image quality. So i think i will invest in nexdigitron a3 and wait for sometime till next generation dashcams with new sony sensors comes to market.
    Thanks again for this amazing comparision.

    • @traveltechyoutube

      A229 Plus is the better one. X5 Pro has older gen Starvis 415 sensor. A229 has latest Starvis2 sensor which performs exceptionally well in low light conditions. Why buy older when you can buy new?

    I have 2 cars with 10 dashcams in each (double and triple cameras included). In my most expensive car I have in front 3dash cams (1 70MAI A800s, 1 70MAI M300, and one triple cheap HD camera that i use because it remainds me to turn of the rest of them). On both sides of the car I have one M300 and 2 cheap cameras (about 15 euros each). In the back I have the FHD camera from the A800s and a VGA camera from the triple camera.
    In my older car I have in front also 3 dashcamd (A800S, M300, and the triple one again). On both sides I have 4 cameras (2/2) cheap ones about 15 euros each. In thr back I have the FHD dual from the A800s and the VGA. When I had just the old car I used to have 3 cameras on the back too, I had the FHD A800s dual backed up by a M300, but eventhough the M300 records better than the A800s 2nd camera (dual) the 2nd one is still good enough to be left alone in the back (just with a VGA as back up).
    I use so many cameras in front becasue the A800s are set in both cars to record speed (GPS enabled) and I RARELY respect the speed limit and in case of an event the video could work against me so.... if I am a little above the speed limit I simply give the recordings from the M300. Onlu the A800s are connected to the cars via a parking kit and the rest are turned onn and off trough a circuit breaker that i installed in both cars from the 12V plug. I many time forgot to turn on and off the cameras so either it would drain my battery or I would drive without them on. The cheap triple cameras are with their monitor on so I rarely forget to turn them off when parked for longer periods. Also I always remember to turn the cameras on.
    I had a bad incident about 1 year back with a super judgr from my country, he was at fault but the police took his side. I had only one cheap camera in my car back then and I lied that I had video (but i forgot to turn it on). He didn't care about anything but he was scared of seeing his mugg on TH-cam so it worked out ok for me after all. I refused to show him the video and said to him that i will only show it in court.... like i said I bluffed. Since then only Google street view cars have more cameras than I 😅😅.

    Yes, well described but there's a major difference which was not covered, is that, DDPAI all models don't offer/function ADAS in India, however, A800S offers ADAS features. Also, DDPAI Z50 has capacitor while A800S has Li-ion battery....

    • @traveltechyoutube
      @traveltechyoutube  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Agreed. And why I have not mentioned about both is because ADAS is not a everyday practical feature. You may use it for a day or two and then turn it off later. More annoying than assistive.
      Regards to capacitor vs li-ion battery, there has been no recorded event/incident in the past decade about dashcam blowing up or burning out. Also I personally have been using a dashcam with battery for nearly 2 years now and I haven't faced any issue. So I can say that the battery issue is a bit overhyped and not backed by any strong evidence against it.

    Great explanation! Superb work!
    Quick question - In DDPAI Z50 -> Can we change the settings for video length to 1 min, 2 mins or 3 mins, as we can do in A800S? What is the default setting for video file length?
    Also, can we turn off the display while the recording is on?
    I am confused b/w Z50 & A800S! Which one has a better iOS app and better features? I am not a fan of ADAS though.

    • @traveltechyoutube
      @traveltechyoutube  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Considering video quality, Z50 is the right choice. And there is no option to increase video record duration as far as I know (it might be added in future updates).
      Both Z50 and A800S are good cameras. I personally prefer the Z50 due to its clarity.
      And regarding your other query, most of us will never use the app after first install. The app is useful only when we first install the camera and need to adjust the settings based on our requirements. After that its done. Even to copy videos, I recommend using a card reader to read the micsd card directly into your pc/laptop.

      Both have same resolution and same Sony sensor. So no difference in video quality. The difference is Z50 has a screen and Mini 5 doesn't. I would always recommend going with screen version, because it is very convenient to monito5the recordings and various settings right on the dashcam, than try to connect to smartphone everytime you need to change some setting. Hence, DDPAI Z50 is the one I would select.

      Go with 70mai A800S, as Z50 has been out of stock for sometime due to some issues. And yes, with another 12v socket at back, you can definitely install another dashcam. But the drawback is you wont be able to access both dashcams together in the app. Your smartphone can connect to only one dashcam at a time. Also, in dual channel dashcams, front and rear recordings are saved in the same sd card in separate folders. So you can access easily. By installing a different dashcam at rear, you will need another sd card for that and will need to be accessed separately if and when required.

      The videos shown are without the CPL filter. And if you try to fit in the CPL filter by yourself, it will void the warranty of the product. Hence not advised.

    Is there any dash cam in which we can join rear cam wirelessly

    • @traveltechyoutube
      @traveltechyoutube  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not that I know of. Connecting the rear cam wirelessly will need a separate power connection for the rear cam. Also continuous wireless video streaming will heat up the dashcam immensely.

    • @xxxxxGhostBoyxxxxx
      @xxxxxGhostBoyxxxxx ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And it wont be stable. Will lose a lot of packets and that means lost a lot of data transmission. Which u dont want that to happen when u need the footage the most. Wired connection is the most stable, fast and reliable. Hardly fails.
