My father taught me to do a tune-up on various cars from the 1970s, when you could actually access things! People who can work on modern engines amaze me ;-))
Glad the van is still able to move on its own. If you have all the equipment, pulling the engine will give you a better chance of seeing and repairing issues. Depends on how much time and money you can invest in it. That mower is needed first.... and wood chipper.
It will be interesting to learn you decision on pulling the engine or not. You are a very good video editor. You show us what we want or need to see and do it in a timely manner. 👍👍👍

Does remind me a lot of my Pops working in his shop... I miss him. But watching you work makes me happy. The only thing that is odd is well... the very English accent. But that's ok I love that. You got your chipper and lawnmower to fix up... but it's coming.

Great idea to step back and get the overall picture sorted. It does wonders in maintaining the forward momentum you have established. We are rejoicing with you!

I live by the theory never buy a vehicle bigger than you can push or if a bike pick up. I have replaced the back light on a laptop screen, but your pile of parts confused me. Great job. Last car I worked on was my 73 charger. After that I found a mechanic because it was to confusing to get at parts. I crossed fingers on both hands. Glad it's working. Happy Easter thingy.
I guess in a way, putting a car together is rather like a jigsaw puzzle on wheels... I'm just amazed at how you know what goes where. Thanks so much for looping us all in and vlogging about cars.

Hurrah for the van :) I remember the golf cart I actually thought it was Billy's and then remembered. 2 more cars? people paying you I hope I am curious as to how this skill of yours materialized? did you work on cars with family as a youth? actual training and work as a mechanic? I have siblings who are mechanically inclined as you are but I was never interested. Back in the day those kind of skills and classes were only offered to boys so I never applied as did to computers or programming and was given a hard time. Same with house painting as well. I think it's a wonderful hobby and skill to have and fully appreciate you explaining to us in easy language.
A Regasket of the motor would be easier with the engine out of thevan easier to get to everything. Probally need to do a water pump as well if the maint. history is unknown!
It seems to me you've hit your stride as the saying goes. Please don't be offended but I prefer watching you do the mechanical work (which it would be nice to see longer content) than the chateau work but I understand you have to split yourself to do both. Keep a stiff upper lip and crack on!!

You are so right. I started with carbonated engines, now there is on room and all hi-tech. Still doing it though, with help from Google.
