I took my son to see him up in Glasgow a few months back, and tbh, having Noel there wouldn't have made a difference. If you want to see Noel, he's doing his thing, if you want to see Oasis, you can go and see Liam 🤣 but to bang on who's better than who, who deserves the most credit... It's pointless. Personally, I always liked Noel more, but he's turned into a reeeeally... Bitchy scorned... Gotta love Andy on here, Guigsy never did that, ever. This people who said oasis was better with the original line up is lame, just Liam's voice was better, oasis improved a lot musically with Gem and Andy, Noel stopped playing lead in a lot of songs also.

Oasis didn’t improve musically at all (it can be argued) because Definitely Maybe is considered by many to be the best album. Why? Because musically to some means technically ability, complexity, on on and on. You end up in Jazz. But to bring those type of metrics into judging Oasis just takes away from their sound. That’s why in my opinion the better they tried to be musically the worse they became. It’s why the so called worst musicians of the line up created their best songs. Ending up almost trying to become something they were not. It is of course all subjective. No ones ever going to argue Noel is Joe satriani but is satriani Better on the guitar than Noel? You decide.

Grifffiths , The Real People , Johnny Marr , Creation Records , Alan Macgee , Ignition , The Boardwalk , owen morris , sony etc..........for me the most interesting period in their early yrs was between the time they signed to Creation or were discovered at King Tuts (early '93) & wen they released DM (aug '94). That was a very exciting but also 'strange' time for the band.

They totally stole the stereophonics riff. If you haven't listened to the album "Word gets around" you should check it out. They were probably the best two UK bands of the early 00's.

Agreed. True its a looped drum track as a foundation, but the sound of the entire thing kinda stands out in an odd way. Like antiseptic. Don't blend into the rest. The whole band sound is a bit flat. Sadly. Cause the actual performance is quite strong imo. Front of house mixing guy could have gotten more out of it.
