Awesome ride! I'd love to ride some of this, but I'm a little bit far away in Australia. You have some of the best scenery and tracks I've ever seen! I'd be happy to be out of lockdown and riding some of our tracks at the moment, but happy to come along with you on your rides for now... Great stuff, keep it coming, it keeps us sane!!
I always hear nothing but problems with GoPros. I've been looking at getting a new action camera and I keep seeing great things about the insta360 one R. They made a version that doesn't come with the 360 camera if that isn't you jam, or you can get the twin peaks version that comes with both. Would definitely check em out.
Scott, I bought the Nomad Adventure rack from Holland through CyclopsAdventure Sports in Washington State. I have it mounted on my FE 350 and it's awesome. I'm using the Mosko Reckless 80 on it and it's fine. A smaller system like you are using would be even better. It bolts into the exhaust mounts so it add a lot more rigidity to the rear sub frame.
We are pretty consumed working on routes for the ADV Gathering this fall. We lots a bunch due to the fires, or lost access to them with Westside Road being shut down. Must find new stuff for the peeps to play on! You can always text or email if you are looking for a ride to join. Cheers!
Funny to see when you giggle with pleasure at a trail I would probably poop on in my pants. I would not go in with a full size adventurer to such a place for sure. and that amazing landscape- wow! What level of difficulty (in your scale )would you rate the last section towards the summit?
Yes, this rail is a handful. It is a solid 4/6 according to our website, but I am going to move it to a 5/6 as there is a spot lower down that is super tricky.
