@victorkreig6089 While I appreciate what you're saying, as it does have some truth to it, I am also not sure why you'd allow such a petty thing to upset you so deeply. Life is far too short for that. If I could lend you any advice at all whatsoever, it would be to try finding a more positive way to utilize your time and energy. I spent the better part of my youth allowing that sort of anger and irritation at others to dictate my life. It's not enjoyable, it's extremely counterproductive and nobody likes to be around that kind of negative energy. I didn't even realize how much of a drag I was to be around until the woman who eventually became my wife pointed it out to me and I vowed to change my ways.

I checked it out. There are 20 units remaining (as of 2024-09-03. Cost is 10 Euros for the cassette plus 13 Euros shipping. Sort of wish I still had a working cassette player. I really miss those days.

A homage to the old analog Tangerine Dream and Jean Michel Jarre. When you could not just program the instrument but had to make analog settings while performing. Glad to see this type of music lives on.
The art is very beautiful just like the ear and mind-enchanting analog synth music, thank you for bringing the synths back, I'll be purchasing a couple myself pretty soon. Analog synths play electricity weaving its way through a maze of circuits, all resulting in a soothing, mind-bending sound. A real retro trip into the far far away...bon voyage les amis!
Oooh... I clicked on this because the title of yhe album. I didn't expect analog warmth and beautiful pads. This is what my imagination sounds like. It has a nice nostalgic comfort to it. 10/10
Wow. Jarre, TransX, Garry Hughes(Sacred Cities)...all those records would be in a bin of 'import alternative'. Used to go to the store every week or so to see if the bin had new albums in it.
This is amazing music. It is like finding Jarre's post-Oxygene ambiental album. Vangelis did Tegos Tapes, this reminds of this kind of relaxing atmosphere. Will be listening to this for years to come, alongside my Tangerine, Vangelis and Jarre collections. Bravo!

In my day, we had to wake up at 4am SEDT (standard earth-day time) just to make a warp jump. We worked 15 hours in the data mines, and had to wait a full 10 seconds for our Peps-Caff beverage to be dispensed. You kids got it easy these days!
Wow 10 seconds for a beverage dispenser to do it's thing, I feel your pain, in my youth we had to wait the length of a sidereal year fixed star to fixed star just to make a party line phone call 😂

This popped up and I just clicked, expecting it to likely not be of my taste in music...as is more often the case. Was totally surprised that I was listening to (like others have stated) what sounds like the modern coupling of Jean-Michel Jarre and Tangerine Dream. What a joy to hear music like this again...brings me back to my youth, walking alone at night in the 80's with early electronic masters playing on my crappy walkman headphones and still filling me with the great pleasure of their evocative and exciting music. I hope what was old is new again...reborn in new and interesting music such as this group, Draconis Star. I will have to keep watch.

Cassettes are coming back in style, for some reason I can't fathom. I hated having to use them when I was young - CDs were so much better.
