Love the relationship you and your wife have. So supportive of each other while apart from one another. I really enjoy watching your videos. No foul language, your courtesy & acknowledge everyone you encounter as well. Nice young man. Wish there were more like you out on the road. Prayers for safety on the road & for your family.
The algorithm got me somehow. Just scrolling through youtube and see the building I work in then even more surprised that you stayed in the same town I live in
That’s the thing that always gets me with reefer, especially when it’s obvious the trailer isn’t nasty with blood and whatever. You should say that since your trailer is clean you need to see a wash receipt for their pallets that they stacked the product directly onto.
Yeah it’s crazy couple wood chips and a seal in the trailer laying there I could of swept it but still they wouldn’t take it unless there is a physical receipt 🤦🏼♂️
@@NavyOmen77 I appreciate it I try and do different things I just do my own style of vlog and showing what I do I really never try to get info or copy others I rarely even watching trucking vlogs 😂 too busy working 🤦🏼♂️
@@RunningOTR well on the plus side, you got viewers who have nothing better to do then comment what we see and don't see ;), consider us ur off screen part time editors.
To help with your air line seals to keep from cracking and leaking put just a little bit of vaseline on them not a lot just a little it will help keep them from cracking
Rather than pay an employee to sweep out trailers that don't belong to them they make the drivers clean them out before they even come in the yard. I can see what they're doing and respect the company for protecting their product from contamination by litter and busted pallets and god knows what else.
Bummer about the wash out certificate. When you plan your trip, do you try to stay on Interstates, or do you go the shortest route on secondary roads? I am impressed with how you drivers back up those trucks....the trailer is so long. Wow, for being a rookie cook, you put me to shame LOL...the glaze on the salmon looked amazing. Nice to see your daughter and wife, hope they are all healthy and doing well.
I usually follow the company maps so which ever way is shorter I run it. Yes it’s a long trailer it definitely takes a lot of practice to back up the trailer always have to be cautions and take it slow if you’re not sure get out and look to prevent accidents. I’m a rookie cook my wife is the pro haha 😂 yes it’s called bang bang salmon delicious 😃
Hey, what’s going on, do you have a normal lease or are you a lease owner operator? Also, when it comes to pre-planning and staying busy, do you have to sit around for a day or two before you get a load or are you allowed to book your loads in advance instead of just waiting around for them to call you with your next load? How about cameras in the truck as well ? I have been thinking about making the move over to prime. I was mostly looking at the flatbed side because it seems like everyone wants to do a refrigeration and bump docks lol so the competition is always going to be high unless your always on the go and not sitting around .I have just been deciding on either lease or lease owner route …company driver is not an option for me lol
The lease is great the money is good also you don’t really sit much they always keep you loaded. I’m going a normal lease. You don’t sit around for long they usually have a load picking up same night sometimes or the following morning. Flat bed is a good option at prime you’ll be happy. 🤝
As a lease operator you can stay as long as you want and you can go home as often as you want up to 29 days at a time by the 29th day you need to haul a load
I’m new to your channel brother.. I’m enjoying your content a bunch. Thanks !! I have my CDL but haven’t driven in awhile. Trying to decide if I can do the whole OTR thing. I don’t know much about being a lease operator.

Yeah they required a wash out receipt unfortunately
I've made the mistake of forgetting to read the load notes and got to shipper with dirty trailer 😂
🤦🏼♂️ I did the same 😂
@@RunningOTR Now we both know meat loads and produce are most strict about clean dry trailers.
@@RFwarshipGFYS exactly 💯 I agree with you they are very picky with clean trailers

Just checking. Do you use your first knuckle to measure the water? Your wife had better have taught you good.
No I usually use the little rice cup and add 3 water cups for 2 cups or rice she’s definitely a good cook and teacher to me. 😃
@@RunningOTR ask grandma about measuring the water 🚿 with the finger. At least that’s how it was done when I was a kid.
