    I wish TLG would partner with BMR to help them supply parts for these awesome kits.

      Dru Betts I agree. What’s mind boggling to me is even though they are in the LAN, LEGO did not send the Disney Train to them. What better group to promote a LEGO train than a website dedicated to LEGO trains?

    Wow these do look a lot bigger than a regular Lego train car

    I know how you can make a wider turnkng radius without needing to look into your wallet.
    Just pair unrealisticly tight turn tracks with straight tracks, 1 per curve, & it works well.

    Hey Jabbo! That looks really good but 8 wide is a bit to large for my layout.
    If you are interessted in 6 wide train stuff you should check out bluebrixx.com they have free pdf instructions for their models. You only have to create an accout to get access. They are encouriging people to recreate the sets with lego pieces.

    LOVE this and great choice with Percy on it! My one problem is that my train layout is a little too small for too many of these long cars! The 8 wide works well. Does it have any way to secure the load?

    I used to call the chessie system the cheesy system too. I still don’t know why the acronym for the chessie seaboard system is CSX. Man the BMR rolling stock is so detailed. Comparing the BMR 8 wide scale to the conventional LEGO 6 wide scale, the larger the model the more detail you can include. I wish it was easier to get the 4D brix products outside the US

    The tubeing is poorly cut. I would try to use an exacto knife. For more precise measurements

    After 9 years, lego started making the 1x2 plate modified with handle last year in 1 set and its in 7 lego/bricklink sets in 2019 so they are not expensive to get any longer

    • @BrickTsar
      @BrickTsar  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      mpmarsh well depends I guess on what I consider expensive - I prefer the 5 cent range vs the 50 cent range - but definitely the price is coming down - but still not all the colors needed

  • @bdstowe

    Although these are really nice looking kits they can not be ran with modern equipment. The trucks have friction bearings, not roller bearings, which can not be used in interchange service. Just thought I’d let you know :)
