@@Mr_Ravee agree. But if we buy any part like, 1 or 2 items per mont, then after that we buy other items on the next month, for me thats OK, maybe the cost can increase. But I'am not feel the burden. Everybody have their own view on it. Anyway, just enjoy the flow. cheers

This a mongoose. I have one with different frame geometry. U should do the cheap upgrades to these while your building them back. Such as sealed bearings, 1x conversation with better range, upgrade the brake pads, sealed headset etc. Nice job tho

nice restore but still a department store bike. Usually I have those bikes for free and restore just for fun / use as shopping bike. I focus mostly on making sure the gears and wheels are working properly. The whole restoration process like that including parts and labour could easily cost somewhere $500-$1000. selling the bike like that, max you can get is $150 if selling at a shop.
i have the same bike...i disassemble it and spary painted it black...my issue is the part at the bottom of the seat post that connect the two frames and is to the left of the bottom bracket housing is still wobbling/play even though i already tighten the allen bolt already,,,any advice to solve the wobble/play?
