I bought Chest and Back, and Arms and Shoulder focused template.... Is it no brainer to use then while being in a caloric deficit? Well I'm not a beginner and my body fat ain't too high either... A deficit is definitely not a good time to bring up lagging body parts since you will do probably no growing at all if you are not a beginner. Also at your body fat only go into a deficit if you really want to be lean not because you feel you are supposed to. I’m my opinion 20% body fat is probably the upper limit of a bulk
I needed wide thick lats so I would I did was keep going up in weight till I'm at a weight where I can. Only two or three enen one but a shit tone of sets I couldn't recognize my back is a short period of time on the pull down machine with a wide fat straight bar and the close grip bar with the hammer grip
I got a question for you pros out there.. can I sufficiently build lats without machines? Pull-ups, deadlifts, rows etc. I work really hard but am I missing out on gains
probably whatever you use now, I think it matters more how you divide volume than how you divide exercises. I'd say do atleast 2 variations of vertical pulling though personally.
Can't relate. I was born with a wide back so much so that when my Ma was giving birth , only my head managed to come through so they had to push me back in and give her a c-section.That being said I was also born with twigs for arms haha.
My goal is a back so wide my physician becomes concerned when I enter the room crab-scuttling through the door

Instead of less horizontal rowing, flare your elbows out and target the upper back more. They are often starved of heavy compound lifts.
Very useful. I didn't know that I should avoid vertical pulls if I don't want a wide back.
Horizontal pulls. Vetical pulls are good.
