It is crazy huge. A little too big for me for the reasons you list. I recently ordered two 1/4 prime 1 Witcher statues and those are really too big for me. I couldn't imagine a 1/3 scale statue especially when it's ready a large character to begin with.

Wow that is one amazing sculpture of Doomsday. It is so proportionally well done. Also it is so visually pleasing with all the bones and spikes protruding out of his skin, frome his head to legs. Where does he purchase his clothes or does he get it tailored. You would think that with a sculpture that big, you could get a smaller limped non caped Superman that could be placed in his hand. Anyway he is a gteat buy. Well done.

What a giant piece! I like the overall look, and the size just blows me away. In my opinion I think they went a lil heavy on the shading, to the point where it just looks a bit amateurish. I wouldn't want the cape in this though. This looks like Doomsday is on the march to a final showdown with Superman and the cape doesn't come into play until Doomsday is already defeated. Is there a companion Superman piece to go with this? If there was I would have loved a alt head with Doomsday taking a hit and his head is turned to the side, maybe with some bones chipped off or spitting out teeth. The possible Superman piece would then come with a alternate punch arm, and maybe a bloody/bruised face alt.
in Death of Superman Doomsday starts out wearing the green uniform. It covers every part of him. Kind of looks like a green wet suite with goggles. Pretty creepy knowing what's under there. But as he lays waste to everything in his path parts of his uniform continue to reveal what's underneath. Incredible statue. I've always preferred Doomsday with long hair, but both portraits look great.
He looks fantastic however having read the DC Death of Superman DC graphic novel i don,t recall Doomsday hav two horns coming out of his head. I mean yes it is a Prime One Studios Deluxe Edition optional extra but personally for me that just doesn,t look right. So if that we,re me i,d probs stick with the ordinairy version with the DC comicbook accurate Doomsday head
you should start measuring the pieces you review...but congrats man this is insane, I think the SS one is just as good if not better but the sheer size and presence of this beast makes him sooo cool
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX I hear ya, thing is those SS measurements can be off, I have no clue why they are off maybe has something to do with the measurements they have on the website are taken from the prototype and maybe a piece shrinks when mass produced leaving the production pieces slightly smaller than the prototype, or maybe that's nonsense idk just a thought
I love that doomsday statue. I noticed he was holding batman's head in his right hand just before you started talking about superman's cape. Did it come with batman's head or did you put it there yourself?

I put mine on a stainless restaurant style prep table with a black drop cloth Also when I sent it up I had it on a salamander design cabinet which easily holds him

How do you guys find the room to showcase these giant 1/4, 1/3 pieces??? I have a few dozens 1/6 scale statues and can barely make enough room for those.
I'm not sure if I should get this or the Sideshow piece. The portrait on this is better imo but the sideshow piece has really good detail. Although the mass of this piece is amazing but the Sideshow piece is also pretty big. So can't decide hmmm. What is the supes cape made of it doesn't look very good. Looks like rubber.
good lord look at the size of that thing!!! the cape definitely evokes the comic. its a must display. the package did not meet the epic scale of this beast. did prime 1 just get the marvel licence? they only have 3 marvel statues on their website. the horn head is the one i would keep on him.

This guy needs a battle damaged supes next to him on display. All the bruising, cuts and blood based on the comic drawings.
