We need more reviews with Mr. X consuming a bottle of wine in advance. The honesty was pure gold.
Too many options is not a problem Mr X, you bought the DX version, you could have had less switchouts if you bought the regular version. So I wouldn’t lower it’s score because of that.

MR X must have gone on a bender before the review. From the video, this is probably the most impressive Predator statue I have ever seen. Anyone who can afford this bad boy will never need another one. Maybe there are some minor flaws that you can only see in person, but I know if I walk into someone house and this Jungle Hunter standing there, I would only have one question, where is Arnold hiding?
I own it and I can attest that it is as spectacular as you think it is. Growing up, I always wanted a definite Predator figure. When I saw this and the detailed reviews of it I dropped the immense amount of cash and took the plunge. It absolutely is a grail statue.
X is a douche in most of his reviews. The guy is really weird and I don’t envy him. I truly think that he has mental issues, OCD and compulsiveness. I think therapy might help him.
@@TheKessi1000lol MR X is something that is for sure, although I don't think he is a jerk, he does have very strong opinions. Everyone has there own tastes when it comes to collecting. Glad you are enjoying this Predator statue, it is an amazing work of art.
When they first revealed this one I felt like the price point was to high for Predator to just be standing there.
I got a awesome deal I paid 2500usd for deluxe bonus version. I paid for fugitive predator 1/4 scale 2000usd to give you a idea of how good of a deal this statue was compared to the 1/4th statues.

As stupid big as this is, it is beyond cool. Can't imagine how cool a display will look with the other 1/3 predators next to this.
I think a lot of the hate was coming from that bottle of wine... Because aside from the size, I didn't really hear too many negatives. Alot of switch-outs isn't a negative to me. It looks awesome.
I am a Predator collector but passed on this one. Way too big for my house. Also not spending this much money on statues. It is just too much. The city hunter is a big fav of mine but also too big and expensive. Although i do hope they will sell the throphy skulls separate.

The first Predator movie is still my favorite, and I think this statue with all the options offered allows for collectors to display this iconic character their favorite way. I also really like the base, the water with the fish is impressive. I can totally see how difficult it will be to display such a massive/heavy statue. He's one impressive MF 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Congrats for all those beautiful statues you have on display. This predator is incredible, one of a kind and the best in the market, maybe until they issue the Scar Predator. That one in my opinion will dethrone this one.

Scar and the rest of the trio WILL NOT dethrone this one. I have done a thorough look at all of the detailed images and videos of the AVP Predators and they without question are not as detailed as this Jungle Predator. Just look at their mid sections alone and you can see they don’t have near the shading that this Predator does. Their armor isn’t as detailed and every part of them has this “Brand New”, shiny look to them (Like a plastic action figure).
When they announce “WOLF”, I will be instantly pre-ordering. That one is going to give the Jungle Predator a run for it’s money. The “Prey” Predator could be very interesting as well.

This is by far the greatest and the most screen accurate Predator statue ever made. Ultimate Predator. Other Predator statues looks like crap compared to this. This is the only Predator you need. Sell everything else. Score : 11/10

Great review 💪.Steve Wang (owner of ECC) designed the original Jungle Hunter for the film. The ECC Jungle Hunter is based off his original vision for the creature. As far as FILM ACCURACY, Prime 1 studio is the one to own
I don't actually disagree with most of your points. This is too big and too expensive ($5k to my door in the UK!) But there are ways of looking at it. I bought this to be the centerpiece of my collection and in that regard, this is hard to beat.
This seemed almost a chore for you which is a shame after having spent so much on it. Maybe you're burnt out on the hobby which happens to most of us at times. But I wonder if you just take a step back, maybe get it on its shelf where its meant to live and revisit it in a few weeks If your opinion would be the same? I'm just curious more than anything. The 1/3 city hunter is super disappointing tbh (awful pose) But I'd love the Berserker, not sure I want more than one of these however at this huge size and price point... 1/4 and I'd buy then all!

If I'd paid that much I would just stare at is as well...too much choice is a thing for sure! My only nitpick would be options for blood, if he's holding a bloody spine and skull, then there should be some splatter, somewhere.
Honestly I don't know what is more entertaining. The statue of the Predator or watching you get through the review while drunk. From what I've seen with other reviews of this Predator statue is the fact that it is too big and has way too many switchout options. I have to agree but they have to excuse the reason for the price. I for one like it and if it was the only Predator piece you would ever buy it is a winner. Maybe that was the goal Prime one was going for. That if you were to just get one Predator statue in your collection make it big and extravagant with as many displaying options as possible. If so? Mission accomplished. There is no other option than to display it as a centerpiece to really get the full effect of all the details of it. It does have the Xfactor for sure. I saw this in person yesterday in a shop in Australia and it's ridiculously big like upgrade my house big.
I feel it looks better in the website photos though, they were asking $4500 AUD.
So what happens if there’s a third bottle of wine?

I'm thinking it looked cool. In the movie he's a big boi and holds Dutch up with his feet off the ground, so the 1/3 size tracks. I think the shoulder cannon and forearm metal looked a bit monotone and cheap for the paint in the closeups, but better from a distance. Extra portraits are too expensive... I'm thinking USD$400. I like the nameplates and they kind of pair with a museum concept. Also like the resin fish. Perhaps a bloodied claw option if he just took a trophy.
Fun fact: Predator was first movie i ever saw in theatre.. dad took me, to a little 2 theatre venue in the basement of a mall.. lol

I'm glad you didn't drool all over it like everyone else. The two unmasked portraits are too close to looking the same. It should have came with the closed mouth but they got greedy and decided to offer that up as a 1000 BUST.
This piece is so dope but really wish the pose was a bit more dynamic.
The best Predator statue is Prime1 Cracked Tusk Predator, it’s got such a cool pose of the Predator jumping forward.
I wish it was more film accurate.
The blades are not painted polystone, they're metal. The statue is ridiculously over-scaled. Finish is really fantastic for a factory statue. ECC didn't exist when the Cinemaquette Predator was released. Steve Wang worked on it, but there was no ECC in existence at that time. The truth comes out at 18:15 :)
To sum up an unusual long and honest review by Mr X on a well known statue.

Yeah I agree they didn't need all thr extras, almost like they picked yhe price point and then decided they needed to add all that stuff to justify it. That said the original Predator movie is one my favorites and if I got a Predator statue the Jungle version from somewhere whether Prime 1 or another company. Be Excellent.

GIGANTIC 1/3 statues, not my cup of tea, but I bought this one anyway. I know that they are some who like the 1/3 thing, but seriously 1/4 is big enough. The statue was done very nicely and I don't mind the switch outs. Question though, where in the hell did they get this stuff about 1/3 statues are where it's at? Probably from just a handful of people on utube?

I agree, all those switch outs are ridiculous. You only play with the toy for a little bit and then you just forget about all of them. And as usual with predator statues, bigger is not always better, but they’ll continue to make bigger and bigger… knowing that most people cannot display the statue with those size bases on their garage shelves And seriously, How many more predator statues do we really need?
Lol 🤣 Mr.X you are a trip 🤣 , but I disagree on the sizing because with me and you being a fan of the predator franchise the size is correct because they are supposed to be around 71/2 to 8 feet tall as opposed to the actual actors size. But this was still one of the best funniest reviews yet 🤣. I was totally entertained. Dope statue my man the pricing is hefty I do agree with you there should've been a little bit more reasonable. Wow, I want a statue not a puzzle. I have a few mini busts by I think palisades? Or something like that. These statues are getting just way to big and out of control with the assembly. I’m happy with my Bowens and other similar sized pieces, but then again I’m a very simple person.

There are no issues with this Statue its perfect i wished i can afforded it ,only problem is the massive Edition Size on this Piece,atleast i have the City Hunter from Infinity Studios which is not great like this but atleast way rarer.

Man I love this statue it just has massive presence and it might be a little over scaled but it doesn’t bother me. I don’t get why your complaining about the size when they give you all the dimensions going into it. I could have done without the original masked portrait but whatever. I totally agree with you about the extra heads at 1,000 a piece fucking joke. Also there is a keyhole on the big rock for the scorpion 🤘🏻
