None of these working... Drive is lighted up, not blinking. My computer does not show. Disk management does not help, as it dhows the drive with small red triangle mark. 1 faulty cable nhi h new use krke dekh lia
2 faulty usb port bi nhi h , laptop is brand new , n hardisk is usb 2.0 and i have checked it in all ports.
3 as laptop is new , all drivers are up to date i have checked
4 never used in mac
5 this is also not problem

In all cases my hardisk is showing light and when i touch hardisk its seem like working as sound is coming from it , but it does not show up , earlier it used to be when light blinks 3 times it used to show

or sir external hard disk explore mein show horahi hai but cmd and disk mngment show nahi horha or hard drive mein window bhi nahi horaha window karte waqt pc hang horaha hai hard drive garrm horahi hai or awaz bhi karhi hai
Hi sir i followed your steps and My old disk start showing but i am unable to open that old disk in my laptop, it shows pop up box with message "format the disk". Sir i dont want to format my old hard disk i have some precious data in my Hard disk , can you shows how to use hard disk as portable in laptop without formatting hard disk

What if HDD is showing in BIOS but not showing in Disk management?
Check in device manager if your device showing driver issue!

My problem solved as soon as I plugged laptop charger.
Plugin sound and light not blinking what to do
My external Hard Disk has its light on and no data showing so i used all hacks but of no use
My Passport external hard drive, in disk management showing " not initialized ".
Kindly let us know how to fix this problem without loosing data.
Most of people are facing this problem.

If we do not have USB y cable then we use two USB cable s
mujhe Disk Management me error show ho raha hai, Disk 2 Unknown and Not Initialized. but device manager me show raha hai, connect disconnect sound hai.

Mere hard jisme bitlocker laga hua tha bo format ho gai h usko kese recover kre isko jarur batayega data recovery
Bitlocker lga hua data ap recover nai kr skte.. recover kr b loge to encrypted hi ayega wo.. key agar h apke pass to try kr skte h .
