Thanks Scott and Jack for letting me take a peek at this tank during an impromptu visit. The camera doesn’t adequately show the scale and height of the display. It’s quite impressive in person.
Thanks Jack. This tank looks great. Jake is smiling looking down on it. He always liked to see other reefers interpretation and this tank looks inspiring. A school of cardinals would look great in there also
Love the softie tank Jack. Can’t wait to see this in a few months when it’s really grown in. As for the fish selection, I’m a sucker for Talbots Damsels. With this being a softie tank, the lighting will be more appropriate for a lighter purple/yellow shoal of damsels. Keep up the great work!
YOU KNOW I AM A SUCKER FOR SOFTIES! Strong work Jack, studio is in good hands as I have said to you already! Loved this one, and LOVE the clown pair! -Blaine
Love this setup, great work Jack! I was really hoping for some extended footage of the whole tank at once though. I just wanted to take the entire view in for a while. ;-) Love the Spotcinctus clowns.
Either lemon or ternate damsels either species. That or generic springeri or any of the more peaceful blue damsels. Chromis won't go to the rocks when young but as they age then they will. Damsels will go right to the rock depending on species.
I'm a stick head that lives a couple miles from the R/B studio and have 600 + gallons of saltwater. I'm setting up a softie tank, or rather, upgrading to a bigger one this month. I go through phases where it's good to mix things up. LMK if you need any help at the studio.
Hi, I have a freshwater tank. I'm still learning everyday and love the hobby. I do want to do saltwater tank. I am nervous about it. So, my question is what size tank do I get to get started for a saltwater tank beginner?
Requested opinion: I'd stay away from high contrast blue-colored chromis/damsels just to limit muting the subtle beauties of soft coral on the total display viewing scale/viewpoint. I'd stay away from Dascyllus too for maintenance hazard reasons; though if you wanted a similar aesthetic, Chrysiptera tricinta/kuiteri or perhaps Chrysiptera annulata. Pycnochromis retrofasciata would keep things subtle and keep small, easy to source. Now to stretch categories a touch (😂), a schooling/shoaling cardinalfish/cardinal-esc would also be neat. Pempheridae (Parapriacanthus/Pempheris), Siphamia, Ostorhinchus would be starters I'd eye.
I wish we collectively stopped keeping and highlighting paly grandis. Idk if I'm watching too much reef beef, but it doesn't make sense to keep that going around in the hobby. Let it gooooo
You called him Ethan the first time, clearly you don’t care that much. Remy and Jack are doing their best maybe you should quit dwelling in the past. Giving you a big ol thumbs down
@@carlsreef instead of trying to read my mind and say things that are irrelevant to my thought process . I don’t have to justify myself to you so bounce . I do ask about him because I enjoy his videos and did not try to compare him with anybody and I’ve been supporting the new crew and never talk shit or try to bring anybody down so get lost

Thanks Jack. This tank looks great. Jake is smiling looking down on it. He always liked to see other reefers interpretation and this tank looks inspiring.

Lemon Damsel goes perfectly with the yellows and browns!
I haven’t been a softie person but that tank looks great! Gonna try to invest into equipment this year to help make life easier
very beautiful tank awesome video
hell yea jack! nice video guys
I think Chrysiptera hemicyanea, azure damsels would be a nice addition. Thanks for sharing an often overlooked part of the hobby, softies.
I agree I love them
Dream tank!

We'll take that into consideration next time we do an update on the tank! He knocked it out of the park! ~Remy
I love softies ive been collecting them lately - would be happy to send over some pulsing sinularia
That would be awesome!!
This is my year to get into salt water! Looking forward to an awesome 2024

Chromis won't go to the rocks when young but as they age then they will. Damsels will go right to the rock depending on species.
That is an excellent point!
I absolutely love those giant cube tanks! Even tho I had a Marineland DD 150g blow years ago 😂😅😔

Huge! Thank you for offering - will pass info along! ~Remy

Really awesome, i Love softies. Could you Tell me the size of the Tank?
Greetings from germany 😅
About 680 liters
Really nice tank, leathers are so under appreciated. But honestly how often do you see a school of marine fish last long term in captivity..?
Maybe go with a big school of some talbot damsels
A big 👍
damsels 100% Pick a less common damsel that most people don't see very often
I think that’s the move!
I'm adding a school of Arnaz damsels to my soft coral tank. I would suggest you do the same, so we can be twins.
Ooo I like the yellow anal fins on those!
Jack sounds authentic, glad to see someone down to earth finally. That other dude though...
Sorry about that. ~Remy
Blue reef chromis!!!
Talbots Damsels!!!

Corazon damselfish green chromis or domino damsels .... where dis the marine betta go ?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
what's the dimension of the tank?
Black bar chromis!
Wow, very sad to learn, just now, that Jake has passed away. My condolences to his family and friends.
my goal is to get out of the AIO system and into something plumbed with a sump to use a proper skimmer or a refugium
Azure Damsels
Damsels
Chromis..or pajamas
I think Vanderbilt chromis
This is my favorite suggestion yet! -Jack
@murrmansreef3944 I love mine and I recall a reef therapy where Mark and Jake talk about them.
Missing Jake
Agreed. He left a huge impact on this hobby and we're trying to keep his legacy going! ~Remy
Tenth

Man I love grandis I’ll always keep them and I have for years and years
Beautiful and chromis please
Pls bring the studio back to life it looks empty Jake wouldn't want that ❤
Definitely not empty, should have more footage soon! ~Remy
Remy killed it, for me. This would have been a good video.
Had to tell the full story of the tank my guy. Thanks for watching! ~Remy
Well aren't you an angel.
Where’s Evan ??
