- Bernardo Raul Castro Mata, a Venezuelan migrant accused of shooting two NYPD officers earlier this month, was arraigned on Wednesday and confessed to police that he is a member of a notorious Venezuelan gang that is smuggling guns into city-run shelters.

There's a black market of accounts for gig economy apps. These "account landlords" rent the accounts to people that may not have the documents to get one. That's one reason why Doordash may not have this guy on their records. We need to push these companies to enforce identity, as well as at the same time give the opportunity to migrants to easily get to work legally, and finally to deport migrants if there's no room left.
