kimberley If you can't picture him with anyone else why would you rehome him then??? You need to think before you get a dog so you don't have to put a dog through this. It is upsetting as the dog has to get use to a new environment again, and new people. The dog has to trust again as that becomes broken when you abandon the dog by leaving it.

I took my dog to a new home this evening... been crying for two days and even tho she's only a block away I feel sooo sad. I did it because my physical limitations prevent me from giving this beautiful young dog the life she deserves. I gave her to a family that is sweet and sensitive with two little girls that are soooo excited to have her. She was sleeping in a box cause she had accidents at night, and then she would cry and I would sneak out of my room and sleep with her in the box or take her to my room and she would stop crying. Did you ever get another dog? This broke my heart. I had to rehome a dog once and it hurts like crazy. The dog did not like children at all. I knew he had been abused and I am guessing small kids were part of that. He went to a home with teenagers and he was happy. I tried so hard to find a foster home but i was sick then the hospital wouldn't give me my phone or a computer so I could search for an organization or individual to take care of her. The shelter gave me extra time to try but they took custody and put her up for adoption. I'm a failure. She was the only family I had left. She was my mom's dog, after she died my brother took care of her since i had my cat. Then my brother died so i had to take care of both of them separately because my cat stayed afraid of her until her death in August. I've been abandoned by the rest of my human "family." Disability and SSI was denied and will take 2 years to appeal. My storage unit will be taken and my property auctioned off except for what i have with me in the homeless shelter. Keepsakes and pictures of previous cats are in there. I'm gonna lose Samantha's urn of ashes. The necklace with some of those ashes in it. I can't survive hell without her. 😢😢😭😭😭😭

And dominating my home which I need back. I have to give her up tomorrow. This hurts so much. Because I would do anything to protect my sweet pea. I truly love her. This is tough
I had to recommend my goldendoodle because I'm highly allergic as well. My allergies got so back I couldn't breathe naturally and had a severe sinus infection for weeks. I cried, but it was the right thing to do.

When my dog in middle school had her puppies, I raised them until we could find them new homes. They remembered me 5 years later and their owners were shocked at how excited the dogs got. Be strong!

I have 2 ferrets that I have to give up I can’t stop crying I’m afraid that their gonna miss me and I’m more afraid that they are gonna be put with someone who won’t love them as much as I did they are so much work and I love them so much which is why I have to give them up and I’m heartbroken that I will never be able to see them again and I don’t feel like I’m making the right decision it’s so hard to have to give up ur pet

Soooo I'm like amf right now.
I got my puppy last week, I was miserable bc all he did was cry. I didn't want too keep him bc I'm like maybe I just don't have the maternal bone in me. So this week has been okay but I have started having serious allergy symptoms anytime I'm near him or at home. So I'm rehoming between now and this weekend. I'm sad bc I thought I wanted this life and he's so cute. But I'm thinking it's just not time bc he always cries and it just hasn't been going right since he came home with me. I'm so sad but I'm miserable with these allergies over here. I didn't know I would be allergic.... He deserves to be somewhere were here isn't whining all the time too. Maybe he doesn't like how busy I am... IDK....I feel defeated
