Lady Bird Johnson had the most beautiful voice and was a credit to her country in every way.
Lady Bird Johnson was truly a FIRST lady.
So was Jacqueline Kennedy onassis they both were great and helpful first ladys
@@todoroki2134 - they both had great senses of style - albeit in very different ways. Lady Bird's video tour of the White House is a good watch.
What a GRACIOUS, WONDERFUL, AND GREAT WOMAN. Even GRACIOUS enough to ASK the President if she could "say a word". AS IF SHE would have to; THAT is respect and MANNERS. I could listen to her speak for the rest of my life; so soft and gentle and reassuring.
Typical old fashioned class of a southern lady. I've always admired lady bird.
Lady Bird was a great First Lady and human being.
I just love her!!! And what kind, gracious, humorous remarks from the President. So wonderful!
the epitome of class and patriotism
Lady Bird Johnson the 36 and Former First Lady Of the United States from 1963 - 1969 was actually one of the most Civic Minded and down to earth Presidential wives ever and even among the most kindest and warm-hearted of them all that America has ever known in the 20th Century for a fact ! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
RIP😭😭😭😭Lady Bird Johnson (1912-2007) you’ll never ever be forgotten ever !
😭😭😭😭
Lyndon Johnson was wise to marry someone with such grace..
Back AGAIN to see what the PRESIDENCY used to be! AND, to hear this GREAT WOMAN'S voice!
Lady Bird was the epitome of graciousness
God Bless President Reagan and Mrs Reagan My respect to all and to Lady Bird Johnson! Thanks to the great Reagan Library!
A time when republicans and democrats had respect for each other, and could set aside political differences, to celebrate great Americans.
Reagan, even though I was opposed to his domestic policy, was the last president who united the nation. Even though I never voted for him, I personally liked him.
Wow! Never knew Lady Bird had such a beautiful speaking voice even as an elder
Southern ladies are trained in said manner. She was the epitome of a gracious Southern lady.
A classic southern lady.
I love her style and grace.
He was like a loving, caring, happy, and capable grandpa.
It's amazing how many great figures in history president Reagan got to either honor , or meet with
This world of civility and graciousness seems to be gone forever.
WHAT A LADY!!!
She gave Texas our beautiful highway wildflower law. The planting of gorgeous wildflowers all along our Texas highways and they can't be mowed down until after May.
If only we had a 1st Lady like this today. Lady Bird was pure class and that Texas drawl was the most charming and comforting accent in the nation. I remember the LBJ era very well even though I was just a kid. She is sorely missed in today's world. God Bless Linda and Luci for carrying her legacy on.
I missed so much history being born so late
Late Former First Lady lady bird johnson
Born : 23 December, 1912 A.D.
Died : 11 July , 2007 A.D.
Ages : 94 years old .
Can't believe that Reagan was older than her
You’re right, he was a little less than two years older than her. They both lived into their 90s. He was 93 when he died and she was a few months away from 95 in 2007.
Ikr
@@robertyates9500 yep. Now in December she would’ve been 110
That's Reagan being Reagan! Great stuff, lovely memories
Late 40th US President Ronald reagan

Reagan was so charming. It was a truly golden era and He wasn't even comparable to Biden.
Wonderful
This is something you would NEVER see Trump do!
Yawnnnnnnnnn
And people be comparing him to Reagan which is bs
Here I was, feeling sorry for Lady Bird being there without her husband, and in her remarks, LBJ didn't even get a mention!
One of the best and shrewd businesswoman
Classy.
Loved Lady Bird.
Love You Lady Bird❤️❤️
Preserve and ehance.well said!!
Is there a flick from when she was giving a speech, and some nerd "streaked" her?
Classic
Back AGAIN!!!
Lady bird johnson look so much older than ronald reagan but reagan is still older
What's a milk toast
Milquetoast = timid, bland
I thought her name was: Claudia Alta Taylor, then Johnson?
Her name was Claudia Alta Taylor Johnson. Alta is her middle name and Taylor was her Maiden name. President Reagan just left out the Taylor because had she not been known as Lady Bird, history would most likely have known her as Claudia Johnson. I think he was simply saying most Americans don’t know her by her given name, but instead, Lady Bird (a name given to her as a little girl by her nurse/nanny).
She seems like such a charming, awesome lady. Wish I had been alive to observe her as First Lady.
Like President Reagan, I would call her a true statesman.
George washington of 20th century USA..No Thomas Jefferson to follow to this day.
Lady Gird come on reagan
the arch enemy of the Great Society honoring the wife of it's architect, what juxtaposition
Where's eartha kiths question
Gold medal for putting up with an sob 😊
👿👿👿
Président Regan was a nice person, but for some reason I don't like lady bird!!
Nancy look lost in Pluto or mars
ilkeit
I thought her name was: Claudia Alta Taylor, then Johnson?
Taylor was her maiden name; she became Mrs. Johnson after she married LBJ.
