I had the great fortune to see this performance piece (it's so much more than ballet...) at the Spoleto Festival in Charleston SC. It was astounding and breathtaking. The musical score was an integral part of the expression of the story as well. I didn't think they could top "Streetcar Named Desire," but #TheScottishBallet blew me away once more! ❤❤❤
Where are Rebecca Nurse and Mary Warren? Rebecca Nurse epitomizes unfailing strength under pressure, whereas Mary Warren shows the opposite. The course of the trials depends on Mary Warren's collapse under the pressures placed on her. She is a crucial character, just as important as Abigail or Elizabeth, and her relationship to John Proctor is critical to the outcome.
tananario hello, we also made a video featuring the dancer in the role of Tituba in conversation with the Artistic Directors of Ballet Black and Scottish Ballet about representation in UK ballet. Hope you enjoy. Thanks, SB. www.scottishballet.co.uk/articles/diversity-in-uk-ballet

So. Tituba isn’t a woman worth noticing to you? Maybe you haven’t noticed, but it IS 2019, and this comes across as lazy - if not worse.
