Scottish Ballet: The Three Graces - Zachary Eastwood-Blooom

Beauty, artifice, voyeurism and the digital gaze are questioned in ‘The Three Graces’, a highly manipulated and multi-layered collaboration between Digital Artist in Residence Zachary Eastwood-Bloom, VFX specialist Sam Goodwin, choreographer/SB First Artist Madeline Squire, composer Kinetic Alchemy and florist Pyrus Botanicals.
Each of the films in Zachary’s Technology//Mythology//Allegory series is based in an Ancient Greek myth. In this story, Euphrosyne, Aglaea and Thalia (The Three Graces) were daughters of Zeus and were said to represent youth, beauty, elegance. They are rarely represented as individual entities but always together, ’a triple incarnation of grace and beauty - the original ‘influencers’.
