We need some interactions between Azir and Swain or Darius. Azir is rebuilding the ancient Empire of Shurima and Noxus has conquered large swaths of Shurima’s north coast. There’s a war brewing there
That actually depends cause Azir cares about his people. So if his people are ok with being under Noxus, he might decide to instead do a peace treaty in a way. Then again, we don't actually know what Azir's overall goals are.

Instead.. he could go the way of his ancestors and unite the rest of the continent under the shuriman banner, if they want it or not, washing over them as a bloody wave of sand, while he cements his absolute power with tyranny and vassaldom. That is the Azir conundrum, his goal is set, but the means he uses will determine his role in Runeterra.

Do keep in mind, Noxians are pretty elitist and when it came to the conquered territories iirc they weren't treated the best. Upon seeing this and finding out about Noxus in general, Azir will almost certainly declare war on them and possibly even Demacia if they don't get it together with the whole mage civil war. I'd actually go as far to say that the only place I can think of as truly safe from Azir would be Ionia since everything we've seen so far of them, discounting Xayah wanting to remove all humans from the island, is they wish to remain at peace

They could throw 100 sand soldier at 1 noxian soldier and still win at the end of the day. And some of the cards in game are really amazing. Forgot the name of the card but it costs like 12 and is a enormous flying chimera (something like that). Don't think noxians got anything against that. Noxians WILL lose in Shurima. There is no way they win, based on what we know rn. Remember. When a sand warrior "dies" it "returns" to the sand. Aka. They can just spawn a new one. My point is that shurimans don't use any ressources to fight. They can just deplete their enemies ressources.

In Taliyahs bio we already heard about the many tribes flocking to the capital city. Shurima will be no.1 in no time. But. They do have a civil war to finish. So they can't really expand for now.

I was thinking it seemed more like a blueprint of the capital. I understand him being able to reconstruct it with easy, but to do that he must have and image of it, so that magic creates a map of the city then he controls the trasnformations.

I don't believe that just because someone has glowing eyes, they're a sand soldier. (in regards to the emperor's deck) I think they're probably channeling their energy or that their eyes are glowing because their emperor has risen to a new power.
I mean there's also the fact that they're capable of talking/react to Azir while the sand soldiers are silent, they might be humans enhanced by sandcrafters/sun disc in some way which leads to the gold eyes
Azir is probably my favourite character in the lore by a longshot. Just the entire premise of an ancient, powerful and benevolent king ressurecting a dead kingdom to its former glory makes me shiver (in a good way). It's just so BADASS and I love the idea of a mostly defeated nation standing together and embracing their heritage to rise back to glory. With the sundisk, Ascended warriors, infinite soldiers and Azir/Nasus leading the nation, I'm keen to watch Shurima grow to be the top power in Runeterra! Too long has Shurima been overlooked!
Targon will always be Top tier. As long as there are the Selestials there. The aspects are not very powerful tho. They have equal power to an ascented I believe

I think that sands=time. Sand soldiers aren't "spawned", they are revived corpses/images of previous soldiers. So there would be a maximum limit for soldiers spawned at any one time, but still functionally endless. Because of that, I think Sand Chargers need to have their sarcophagus/enclosures in order to preserve their corpses as there would only be a limited amount of them. Or those enclosures help the sand crafter shape the sand easier into that form, and with enough power, they can fill the whole map with sand soldiers.
Maybe, didn't really looked like he's being stab, just the edge resting on his skin or just a threatening demeanor. Also, doesn't seemed like she's a Renekton followers, based on her beast/pet/ride. Edited: Nevermind, saw her behind Renekton in his 2nd level card

I'm curious if Azir (and probably Xerath) learned Chronomancy. Nasus probably learned some of it, capable of using "Wither" spell, aging things temporarly. But Azir sandcrafting are more like "shaping" (not restoring) things back what was once before. I don't know how powerful Zilean is with his chronomancy, but I have a feeling that misusing it or being careless comes with a terrible price related to the Void. and Icathia paid for it.
If I remember correctly, skarners race was in shurima; and the crystals can (have been) used for time stuff. If the sand eroded those crystals, them wouldnt it give sandshapers some extra juice?

Shurima vs Targon is actually pretty possible. allot of plot potential since they would have to unite dusk and dawn in order to fight this massive sand army. i guess the other option is shurima vs void but there hasnt been any void updates other than lissandras and they already have celestials and space dragon fighting that.
I dont think that Targon would Stand together. I rather think that Leona would join forces with Azir against the Lunari. Pantheon would have a field day with that war and i Imagine aatrox would also like to have word in it.
Zilean prediction: Everytime Zilean attacks he creates a timebomb on the enemy field that counts down and deals damage to every enemy target. He could also have some prediction mechanics, like being able to buff predicted allies. They could use his w as his signature spell wich will either cast the last spell again, similar to karma or taric, or change the spellspeed of a spell. His level-up condition could be that you've seen countdowns go to zero or predict a specific amount of times. After he levels up he could resurrect the strongest allie that died last turn.
It's weird because in his first card what Azir is looking at looks like bot a lunar callendar and a geographical map of the surroudings (the especially tall landmark could be Targon wich would make some sort of sense for Mount Targon to play a role ins the process of ascension).

Renekton has one purpose now, until another event unfolds later. Renekton wants Nasus dead. Xerath poisoned his mind during 3000 years into the tomb both of them was sealed in. As for Nasus, he cautious towards Azir, due to Nasus seeing Azir more as a tyrant, but he will gladly help and guide Azir towards right path. The rest of the Darkins either are dead, hiding or are sealed into their own weapon. Some might return to Azir who knows, but the other are beyond return due to The Void War (which gave most of the Ascended PTSD), the fall of Shurima and The Darkin War. So most of the Darkins wants to conquerer all things.
In the mmo i think rather than choosing a race to specify a class they should use their rune system to assign roles such as a frostborn with a sorcery rune to become a mage

Thanks for this video, Necrit! I was about to sit down and start working on a DnD subclass based on this when I saw this in my recommended.
I'm curious if Azir (and probably Xerath) learned Chronomancy.
Nasus probably learned some of it, capable of using "Wither" spell, aging things temporarly.
But Azir sandcrafting are more like "shaping" (not restoring) things back what was once before.
I don't know how powerful Zilean is with his chronomancy, but I have a feeling that misusing it or being careless comes with a terrible price related to the Void. and Icathia paid for it.
If I remember correctly, skarners race was in shurima; and the crystals can (have been) used for time stuff.
If the sand eroded those crystals, them wouldnt it give sandshapers some extra juice?

i like how azir is capable of having warfare with minimal casualties, as his sand soldiers can do alot of the work normal ppl would die for
so in a real confrontation noxus vs shurima for example he can literally keep a war without losing any significant numbers
this is what most nations would kill for, especially with non massiv area of effect kinds of weapons ( nukes and so on)
there also arent corpses, just sand, which is instantly a new weapon the next moment
the only real issue for shuriman empire is to get all of shurima under wraps

It would be cool is Azir once battled Hecarim and uses the images from that battle to fight his wars implying his army will just get stronger if you can put up a good fight.

So i have an interesting question... With Azir / Sivirs 2014 cinematic, Sivir is said to be "the last in the bloodline of Azir". So, in tern... Sivir is a princess... Right? Also, why has there only been one line between Azir and Sivir in this regard? Simply him telling her respectively, "Accept your destiny"?

Shurima vs Targon is actually pretty possible. allot of plot potential since they would have to unite dusk and dawn in order to fight this massive sand army. i guess the other option is shurima vs void but there hasnt been any void updates other than lissandras and they already have celestials and space dragon fighting that.
I dont think that Targon would Stand together. I rather think that Leona would join forces with Azir against the Lunari. Pantheon would have a field day with that war and i Imagine aatrox would also like to have word in it.

Zilean prediction: Everytime Zilean attacks he creates a timebomb on the enemy field that counts down and deals damage to every enemy target. He could also have some prediction mechanics, like being able to buff predicted allies. They could use his w as his signature spell wich will either cast the last spell again, similar to karma or taric, or change the spellspeed of a spell.
His level-up condition could be that you've seen countdowns go to zero or predict a specific amount of times.
After he levels up he could resurrect the strongest allie that died last turn.

It's weird because in his first card what Azir is looking at looks like bot a lunar callendar and a geographical map of the surroudings (the especially tall landmark could be Targon wich would make some sort of sense for Mount Targon to play a role ins the process of ascension).

Let me clarify. Azir is a billionaire who donated his money to charity after his death. Based off the stories, Azir is a pompus rich kid who thinks everyone should follow them because they are rich and Xereth did everything in his power to game the system to win. And at the final moment, tried to throw down the rich kid to gain the power instead.

Well we know about Zilean and ekko but who is the 3rd (there is always a 3rd)Bilgewater, Ionia and Targon didn't get a new champ so I'm guessing something from there, targons whole event just finished so I doubt they're getting anything. Ionia or Bilgewater.... Pyke could be interesting...(exacute 1hp enemies?) Or graves who could Hit enemies round him like when he attacks, he also hits enemies next to the blocking unit or Illoai with her entire religion and nagakabouros. But kayn with his forms giving him either bonus damage on attack, or lifesteal, he could get points for his form change with say... Giving him health for Rhaast or damage for shadow Kayn. Other ionian champs could include Irelia, Lillia, Akali, Kennen, Master Yi, jhin or Ivern. Which all would be pretty cool. Idk personally I'm a LoL lillia main so I want her in LoR but I highly doubt it would be her.

Renekton has one purpose now, until another event unfolds later.
Renekton wants Nasus dead. Xerath poisoned his mind during 3000 years into the tomb both of them was sealed in.
As for Nasus, he cautious towards Azir, due to Nasus seeing Azir more as a tyrant, but he will gladly help and guide Azir towards right path.
The rest of the Darkins either are dead, hiding or are sealed into their own weapon. Some might return to Azir who knows, but the other are beyond return due to The Void War (which gave most of the Ascended PTSD), the fall of Shurima and The Darkin War.
So most of the Darkins wants to conquerer all things.
