When a scam fails, fraudsters will always pretend it is normal business failure. And it becomes an uphill task for investors to gather evidence of fraud and convince other investors to put in more money to sue fraudsters. So better be cautious than sorry later.

In my understanding, guaranteed payment means a company or institution pays you in terms of financial property such as a coupon, ( as mentioned in the video) but it doesn't guarantee you can get back all your principal (higher risk but also higher return). Normally this kind of guarantee offers better return than guarantes interest. Guarantee interest is more like a company or institution will guarantee to pay you no less than the minimum rate of interest (depending on a contract you sign). Normally, the interest rate earned more or less depends on that company or institution's financial performance.
Assume an investment of 100K with 10% for 6 years: 10%=10K. Guaranteed Payment = 100K(principal) + 60K(interest) = 160K Guaranteed Interest = 60K (interest guaranteed) + ??? (principal may decrease in value in 6 years)
Because ETF are much stable, SPY average about 8-10% return yearly for long term. Inflation are typically much lower than that. Not to say you make money for sure but you’re beating inflation. Issue of ETF is you can’t liquidate it anytime you want so make sure don’t put emergency fund into it. Cause it’s a stock market and susceptible to down and up time and you might be taking a small loss if you rush to sell.
A lower risk option to beat inflation is Fixed Deposit or high yield saving account. The latter might not applicable in Malaysia. Issue only is that these are tied to currency and has lower return. Hence it beat inflation at a good time but the return might not be good enough to beat it certain times

投资前必须做好功课（调查背景，商业模式etc）。如果不努力但要有好的成果，有点不实际，被骗的几率很高（尤其是疫情后经济影响很大，导致更多的偏门出现）
问题是現在的大馬華語主流圈本身也有問題，天天就是宣傳那些什麼成功學、被動收入、財務自由那些信息，報章自媒體也是一樣天天播，讲到馬幣好像有幾容易賺那樣，天天看那些沒營養的東西能指望能有多少防範意識。最重要的是这些宣传在大马还是合理合法的
