刚刚查完证了，现在应该可以给到比较完整的解答，对于刚刚马虎的回答先表示歉意，以下是我查证完的结论：
Financial advisor的定义是一个提供财务建议的人，一个合格的financial advisor是under BNM监管的。他是一个类别并且延伸出许多的分支，其中就包括了financial planner、insurance agent、broker、banker等。
Financial planner是其中一个分支，更细致的分别便是他们除了licensed under BNM，他们还得regulated under SC，并且还得拥有RFP（Registered Financial Planner）的执照，才算合格
很多人可以是Financial advisor只要你去考简单的financial advisor的执照就可以了，但是financial planner不一定因为要考到证照的考试非常难，内容涵盖的范围也非常地广，基本上是financial advisor里最难考到的执照之一
本质上，insurance agent可以claim成为financial advisor，但是为了看起来更“高大上”，他们会自称自己是financial planner，因此大家对于financial planner的观感不是很好（注：financial planner不等于insurance agent），某种程度有欺诈消费者的动机
总结，financial planner可以在BNM和SC的license里找到，但financial advisor需要看是什么的advisor，通常合格的都会有BNM的license
