This is so awesome, Logi! What an amazing gift. I absolutely would LOVE to hunt there, I harvested a cow with my bow 8 years ago and haven't gotten an elk since. My husband got his first bill 4 years ago, the first year we dated, when I took him to my spot, and he harvested a nice 5x5 HEAVY herd bull this year. Now I want to put one of my own bulls on the wall. 😊
I was going to say I would love to see what that arrow hit inside him but then you showed it and I'm like wow that hit his heart and he still was alive after all that time.

I bow hunted bulls for 25 years and they are extremely tough animals. You made a great shot, glad you found him.

For a first archery bull I don't think that story could've played out any better or more epic, minus him expiring a bit quicker which was out of your control till the end. Very stoked for you Logan! I grew up 30 minutes from this town and this made me so happy to see them hunting and succeeding, congrats on an INCREDIBLE experience!
Slightly quartering too with that front leg back probably got 1 lung. It's tricky sometimes would of been a prefect shot with the leg forward or more broadside
Thats what I thought at first too but did you see time stamp 35:44? Picture of its heart with a broadhead cut on it. Crazy it lived that long with a heart hit and likely 1 lung. Unless of course the heart shot was the second shot...

That was a great surprise for Logan, I just been sitting around for 2 months rewatching old hushin hunts, I had a triple bypass surgery September 15 so I got shut down on all my hunts this year so the only hunting I am getting is you guys. Keep them coming can't wait for some new episodes to come out. I will be back at it next year just have to be more careful now

Congrats logan. Sucked that it took a second arrow to finish it, but I agree that the placement was good on the first shot. Im sure there will be keyboard warriors that will say you should wait for the perfect broadside shot, but at 7 yards...id be lying to say Id have waited. Id swear that your placement was real good on the first shot. Just tough critters for sure. Congrats again!!

Great job; used to fly out of McCall and Cascade Id. into Cold Meadows in the 80’s and 90’s. Lots of elk and mule deer until the wolves were kicked out of a plane there. Great at night listening to the wolves but the elk were gone from their calving meadows and I stopped going out there.
Great job Logan, great shot too!! Your brother has shot bulls at six yards hunting with Kody of the BRO crew. Don't get uaed to that 7 yard shot, they are rare. I can't believe it took that bull that long to expire, Logan him so good, I just found it hard to believe. Great job to all involved, you too Casey
