Laura is most memorable. I saw in other walkthrough of "kill all enemies", someone managed to beat Laura the first time we meet her, so she won't chase you to the end of elevator.
I’ve watched the full gameplay of the first one multiple times, I’m not a video game player but I loooovev watching and it’s 1 of very few I’ve watched over. It’s so good

When I was younger I used to watch my father play this game, but I was unfortunate enough to be watching right when he faced Laura, and I admit that it gave me nightmares for many years, those screams terrified me and made me not want to see them play anymore to my father
The atmosphere created just before the keeper's appearance is something epic. Still one of the games with an extraordinary variation of enemies. This game makes you forget how to play, focusing more on pre-combat strategy. The first one is one of the hardest games I have ever played, on the sequel they leaned toward simpler gameplay but I liked it. I am still waiting for a third chapter, hopefully it will come out soon
I think its crazy that I played this game for the first time when I was eleven, and I remained unfazed by the bloodshed and the horrendous abominations that plagued this game.

I like the second more than the first cause the first I felt there was little story amd just sebastion getting thrown around until story beats were sprinkle, while the second has more story and I enjoy the focused on Sebastiáns trauma and the character development of him confronting his past and moving forward, that made more compelling for me the experience

Second one didn't have horror atmosphere as the first one sure, but it's still a great game especially with enemies like Anima, Hysterics and Laments. Stefano is a very memorable villain. Theodore Wallace is decent but he's like Hoyt in Far Cry 3 where the first villain outshine him. It also has better gameplay and characters. It's FAR from a disappointment.
Im glad i'm not the only one. The first game had way better atmosphere, more interesting story and better boss designs and fights. I feel like the the semi open world of the second game took away from the creepy atmosphere. The only scary part of The Evil Within 2 in my opinion was the Ghost Lady Anima.

Evil Within was made by the same guy, that created, the original Resident Evil, also worked on RE2, RE4, but also Goof Troop and Alladin on Snes. He created a new studio, called "Tango" that is under Bethesda now, and since Microsoft bought Bethesda...
Most of the times ur just supposed to run from him unless ur talking about the part where u have to fight him when ur n the village then that's different what I did to beat him I would climb up the ladder where the towers at there should be a little pit hole there he'll get stuck and u should be able to beat him easy like that but u gotta be sure that ur fully equipped with ammo and also be sure to have the Cross bow to and the shotgun cuz ur gonna need them and after that u should be able to beat him Easley hope this method works for u as it did for me good luck:-)
Laura, keeper and the sadist are reused about 3 or 4 times. Laura and the keeper are pretty good. I also like the amalgam alpha. though trauma and dopple ganger seem more like rare/special enemy types than bosses. the red mist thing is more of some stalker or chase enemy then a boss since he's indestructible, his boss fight is just him spawning enemies. amalgam ruvik is just a terribly done turret and rocket launcher quick time event.

In evil within 2 i was playing on my good ol ps3 and my family watched for some reason but i just continued and when i was habing a hard time my mom would shout at me saying its so easy and the 2 locker heads in the somewhere to last part my mom got so pissed she punch something and i beat it whith her support :)

@@subbtract4730 no ,you cant 🤣 because the first isnt a soulness sandbox, has 10 diferent bosses and a lot of types of regular enemies , a lot of variety in the gameplay ( you drive a bus in one moment) and has a fantástic artistic style. The Evil Within 1 & 2 are a COMPLETELY diferent types of game

This game gives me so many good memories. I really do think this was the game that got me into the horror game genre. This and Outlast.

This game seems to have the most unique boss fights ever! I own both 1&2 but I won't be playing them
