Sorry you guys got booted. Was rooting for ya! Have no need for what you're doing. I have Ryobi battery operated tools and a 300 watt cig lighter inverter if I need to recharge.
These BougeRV inverters seem like a great product to add as a basic inverter to the Trailer. We also have a 294RK but are not looking for huge solar setup, but a basic inverter would be interesting.
That is really cool! Great ideas! My whole solar system on my rig is using all thier products! Wow you really know what you are doing. Thanks for sharing!
It is important to make sure that the charging system in your RV is set up for lithium. I had to replace my onboard charger for charging from shore power, in addition to my solar charging system for lithium.
Joe. Thanks for the great video. I currently have a 2002 Chevy 2500HD with a 8.1 engine. I find myself needing to power up something while I using the truck to do something on my property. Especially needing 120 volts. Thanks for allthe great info. Very helpful 😅😅
thanks for the info on size of components. I am curious how many OEM 12v converters in RV's will mate with LiFePo. I have a '22 rig, but everything seems old school (pre-solar prep package).
you can look at your converter and see what it is. Pretty much all of the ones that are put in now can detect LiFePO4. If not, you can simply change out the board. Progressive dynamics makes swap outs so you don't even have to replace the whole panel, just the converter. www.progressivedyn.com/power-converters-2/
I have a ton of things I have to alternate for charging or operating in my truck cab during long shifts... From Chargers and FM/Bluetooth transmitter to a dashboard mounted heater or even a battery charger for my electric cordless 60V snowblower. My main issue is not just that she of these items aren't 12v, im also terrified of leaving something plugged into the 12v outlet and killing the battery (it isn't switched, the outlet is even without the key). Wouldn't mind a powered cooler running on the summer and a food warmer in the winter. I work out of my truck, I know it is different use case, but do you think a similar setup with perhaps a smaller battery? Or do some inverters cube with a battery built in? Thanks for any advice or reply. I've never touched electrical in my truck... I just know if I turn off my truck for a half hour or an hour I can still start it without having to unplug everything
I have been looking for a LiFePo 100ah battery, but I couldn’t find it in the link to their website. I’m familiar with them. Did you have to call them for that particular battery? Thanks for the video. I’m doing a similar build but for a different application.
@@2KrazyKampers talked to signature solar EG4 is no longer offering that battery. I also called Shopsolar and got the same answer. I’ll keep looking. BTW I’ll be doing a 48v build next year when the new Rv is delivered. Thanks for the informative videos
Congratulations on your land purchase! 🎉
Thank you!!

it would be perfect

You are awesome, Joe! Loved the video. I'm sure this power in your truck will be very useful to you on the new property.
I have had no luck with that style of fuse with high draws .
Gets hot 🔥

That is a very clever installation in your truck, thank you for sharing that.
With a soft start it will run a 15k ac our renogy 2000watt inverter does no problem.

Shopsolar in TX shows them in stock
Don’t know anything about this company
you might want to call them. They sell out constantly. When I checked the other day they were in stock and now it looks like they are out again.
@@tux707 I check their website last night and again after I read your comment. I don’t see them on the website. I’ll call them this morning. Thanks
