I know this is a videogame, but the Japanese police car being one of the fastest vehicles makes no sense. In Japan, police cars are factory-limited, by law, to 110 MPH. They can't go any higher than that even if they try. Of course, MCII takes some liberties about that. EDIT: An in-game explanation might be that, since this cop car was given to you by Kenichi, maybe it's an stolen cop car with the factory limitations removed to catch the tugs he tasks you to destroy
The SLF450X is still the best hands down but when it comes to the other cars the Veloci was still better than the rest of them. Simply because that car could get to 180mph in like 4 seconds 😂
After 180 the acceleration of the Veloci slows down by a lot. Top speed without nitrous is only about 208mph, meanwhile the Torque JX keeps climbing all the way to 217mph without nitrous.
The Veloci can actually go faster if you "glitch" it. When you hold the handbrake while going faster than 70-ish mph, it will accelerate even faster, but handle like crap. Same goes for the Lusso, you can hold handbrake, sverve left and right (takes a bit of time to get used to that) and it will eventually reach game limit of 402 km/h (idk what that is in mph :P)
Should of been a top 9. Since we're doing cars that do over 200mph. The Veloci goes just around 203 MPH or so. And thats a Super Car, the Big Boss. (in reality, the Saleen S7 can go 220 MPH, you would think with a fantasy, exaggeratingly, "arcadey" type racing game as this, that they would give a super car it's rightfull mega top speed.) (I've always found that ironic how they made it slower in this game to it's real counterpart.) Sooo, with that being said... Then the Schneller V8 with a screaming top speed of 211mph without nitrous. The RSMC at 203 MPH. And the Saikou XS at 205 MPH. And the Paris cop as well, with a top speed of about 224 MPH. It sounds, drives, and handles exacly like the Torque JX.
My favorite car is honestly the veloci after numerous of times of torture and pain from not being able to beat savo on his 5th race with the torque I gave up and just used the bike and I was struggling with the bike but I learned how to use it and the motorcycles are legit the most op things in a midnight club game like every time I see a motorcycle in a midnight club game I’m like sigh here we go but point is it took tons of tears as a kid and I finally beat savo and got the car and I like the veloci because of how much effort it took me to get to get it
If you hold the handbrake after a specific MPH on the S7 or the jet car, it'll give your acceleration a lil boost. It wont be the same as nitro and the cars gonna be hard to control on turns but it's a good lil tip for straights.

Yes, in wiki it is stated that SLF450X has different handling compared to all other cars And at practise, Veloci, Lusso XT and Tokyo cop are the fastest due to the fishtailing feature
You couldve found this out very quickly with nitrous and where is the RSMC or whatever it is... the 350z, that thing was an upgraded version of the lusso but with worse handling...

even tho you can beat savo with cocotte using that technique

At least I did try arcade winning against Savo with my Tokyo Cop Cruiser. (Arcade Mode).
The Lusso XT has the highest top speed of any car (not including the jetcar).Also the Saikou X5 and RSMC 15

The number 1 fast car makes a great 250 MPH crime fighting Batmobile.
