The root Arabic word from which Islam is derived implies peace, safety, salutation, protection, blamelessness, wholesomeness, submission, acceptance, surrender, and salvation. Islam specifically means being in the state of submission to God, worshipping Him Alone, and reverently accepting and obeying His Law. Through this submission, the peace, security, and wholesome well-being implied in its literal meaning is achieved. Hence, a Muslim or Muslimah is a person (male or female) in that state of submission. A person’s Islam weakens through sins, ignorance, and wrong-doing, and becomes nullified in totality by associating partners with God or disbelieving in Him.

He was given 7 months by the doctor but Allah gave him 3 years, he peacefully died on 29th may, after completing all the good deeds he could, i hope i meet him in jannat ameen. Ya Allah please forgive us and grant us all jannah

I am writing this comment only because if I die suddenly I will be an example for other's who do not value their life and do not know that life is very serious. I am a 23 year old Muslim and epileptic Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alameen and I currently have the same mindset that Ali Banat had (May Allah SWT forgive his sins and grant him and his loved ones Jannat al Firdous. Ameen). I do not have cancer but I have had a lot of seizures in the past (still do) and was close to losing my life a lot of times Alhamdulillah. This is a big blessing from Allah SWT because, like Ali Banat (Rahmatullah) it has opened my eyes to how short life is and that every day can be your last. I didn't pray before the seizures, I was a Muslim by name and that was it Astaghfirullah. But now I am thinking about life like Ali Banat (Rahmatullah) Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alameen. Just want to say to all the brothers and sisters who think they are still young. Death has no age, the best way to live your life as a believer is by living every day like it is your last. Do every possible good deed you are able to do and priorotize the Afterlife over the Dunya as much as you can. And know that Allah SWT loves you 70 times more than your own mother. He knows what is BEST for us because He knows everything that had, is, going and could have happened. This is all connected to Qadr of Allah SWT and the best explanation of Qada and Qadr is from Sheikh Belal Assaad (May Allah SWT forgive his sins and grant him and his loved ones Jannat al Firdous. Ameen). I hope Insha Allah that at least one person is going to benefit from this comment. May Allah guide every Mu'min and forgive us all and grant us all Jannat Al Firdous Ameen.

The doctors said 7 months - Allah said 3 years - And Allah is the best of Planners. Not only has this brother been given the change for an easier Akhira with his moments of Tawba and sadaqah in Africa but this message itself has helped change the lives of so many muslims SubehanAllah. This brother managed to shake the world with his Hardship and situation. What a blessing from Allah, The Most Merciful, The Most Loving. May Allah reward Ali greatly and grant him Mercy.
