If you leave those bags, mice are going to eat holes in the bags to get to the feed. The feed in the cans needs to be covered by lids to keep the mice out.

Maybe some expanding foam to fill those holes in the wall foam will prevent future homes behind future panels. All those bags of feed just provided the best Buffet for the mice! They thought they had hit the jackpot for the mice nursery. Keep an eye on the top shelf, under the loft - ideal hiding place for mice!!

You may want to remove the spray foam where the mice were. The mice carry diseases in the poop and pee. Then spray the area with some type of cleaner and wipe down the area especially if you are going to use it as feed storage and a brooding area.

They can have babies every 21 days from mating. You need to get you a chicken house cat! The problem would be gone. Clean the litter when you feed the birds.

Yes,mice do get pregnant, and have babies just like other farm animals. The first thing that you need to do, is you have to get all the babies out of the wall. Once you do the adults will be easy to trap. The old fashioned traps work the best. The sticky sheets don't work very well. Once you get all of them out, you need to seal up the walls so they can't get back in. I hope you have a great day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️🚜.

What is so unique about this family is that they will NEVER sugar coat anything! What you see is what you get!! So if u don’t like REALITY then don’t watch! They do it their way so stop telling them your way cause it doesn’t make it the right way! They love there animals to death! They have a strong work ethic and don’t ask nor do they want hand outs! Their children are beautiful and have the same work ethic that their parents have! This is just an all round awesome family that shares the good, the bad and the ugly!

Mice have many babies live & worse than any other animals- let the chickens eat the pinkies- it might help them get rid of them

Twin Home Experts on TH-cam seem to be very successful at eradicating homes in CA and now FL of pests and critters. Your farm is a great place to try their equipment out and test their knowledge.

The female mouse 🐀 can give birth to a litter of pups after a gestation period of about 20 days. Mother mouse 🐀 nurses her pups for 21 days.
The pups reach sexual maturity and can mate themselves when they are about 8 weeks old. Sometimes at 4 weeks old.

Hi Stephanie and Brandon 👋, is there a reason you're not putting the lids on the cans with the the food that is attracting the mice??????? Inquiring minds want to know. Happy Farming. ❤❤❤ P.S. Stephanie I am so glad your wrist and hand is improving. You have really come a long way. You're putting in the work and it shows. 👏👏👏

Brandon, the mice use the insulation for their beds/warmth. You need to refoam and put up the drywall and caulking before installing the shelving. They will tunnel up to your shelves and nest elsewhere, eating your feed. All feed needs to be stored in closed containers instead of bags. Dutch uses locking lids. Better to invest now to save the feed and keep the temptation away from any critters. You have openings for ants and everything now. Good luck!

Get lids for your feed cans or you will have an infestation of mice !!

Mice can eat through expanding foam. Maybe some sheet metal would work. We use metal trash cans on plant Dollie’s.
