I bought the small red one, and it broke so easily.
I was carrying a toolbag on it down the street, maybe 80lbs, not even that much, and I dropped down a sidewalk curb where the force made the wheel come off. The red triangular part that holds the wheel to the pole snapped, so I've been trying to find another one where it's all metal & there's no plastic, but I can't seem to find one. All the rival products are basically the same, just different colors.
Very disappointed no one is making a lightweight hand truck that's actually durable.
I feel what you were saying. The majority of these companies are always chasing the numbers and their profit margin versus chasing making adequate tools and equipment for utilization that are reasonable. Thank you for sharing your experience.
I purchased the original hand truck & after few uses the wheels wobble. Do NOT waste your money buying the original Milwaukee hand truck. I used the hand truck as delivery driver primarily moving small boxes. The product is NOT curb friendly & can push the dolly forward . I checked the reviews on the original Milwaukee hand truck & customers had the same problem with wobbling wheels or wheels completely snapping. The improved product looks good but I don't know.
Hey there pyratesmark, my experience with the original one is that it's made for lightweight use on occasion. To me it is more like a little portable dolly vs. an actual hand truck. Plus when I purchase the original one it was at Sears on sale for only $24.99 at that kind of price I would not expect for it to do major job capacity. From the construction of it I would not expect for it to be curb friendly at all. Someone like you would need the hand truck that UPS or FedEx use or something at least two to three levels higher than the Milwaukee first version and second version. I just bought the 150 pound ,the smaller one, yesterday and that shit cracked 11/2 hours into me using it!!! The box that I had on their wasn’t even 75 pounds!! So pissed!! They didn’t have the 300 pound one.

amazing!!! I cannot find this exact orange frame with black base anywhere on the net. I see a similar 300lb version; but, the same gray and red as the one one the right. I think the orange and black looks a tad sturdier... I wish I could find it.
Hello there Will, this video is a year plus old and I'm not sure if they did something with the color of the plastic that they're using for the units now? Also I noticed that in different regions of the world a lot of times will make the colors slightly different. You bring up a very interesting point 🤔. Uh!!! Your "friend" doesn't sound like a true friend. He very well knew that He broke your dolly and that's why he put it back in the garage without letting you see it. But I am telling you he is not your friend, because a true friend would have owned up to what they did and would have offered to replace your dolly as soon as they possibly could. This guy is a user. Is it strong / sturdy enough to handle moving washers / dryers ?
It is definitely not that kind of strength. I did just recently use it with the refrigerator but I would not use it to work with appliances everyday.
Did the first one handle the 150lbs when it was functional?
Truthfully Widow I would estimate that my few loads on the first Dolly were never past 95 lb. I think if once or twice you Max it out it probably would not be too bad but if that's your often load I would suggest a much heavier duty hand truck. Neither one of these dollies/ carts are the ones that you should consider for steps. I'm not sure if you're in the United States or not but they have a few of them that are specifically made for steps. There are even carts that are called stair climber carts. I hope these few words have assisted you.

A lot of situations people can benefit from a very small lightweight light duty truck so the reason equipment, tools and vehicles have a range of light, medium and heavy duty is so that individuals can apply what's applicable for their situation.
