Chris I ran matching belts on my 20,30,40 HP motors with triple pulleys you always have one belt that is a different .call a industrial belt supplier give them the belt number and ask them for s Power Team Belt. Gates Belts makes them, it is one wide belt that fits the grooves of double or triple pulley . They will last 3 times as long hope this helps you good luck. The farm is looking good has come a long way in a short time. Take care!
This is about lame as can be but I've tried for years to be the first to like your video!!! I watched every video since you started and love seeing your struggle as well as your progression. Just a great learning experience and always fun to watch. Keep it up bud, it's always a treat!
Chris I drove a 2000 rd and I always keep two extra belts and it had serpentine mack is known for belt issues so don't think it just you I've helped lots of Mack guys with belts but I love my Mack's my dad was a Mack mechanic God rest is sole 🙏🙏🙏 hang tuff your getting it bro 💪💪💪👍😎😎
Hi Chris, matching belts are good on paper and in a perfect world,or new machine lol... Get 3 of same good make run them for a while then retention them . The ones that are slightly longer will have worn to the others by that time and all be the same in my experience. Keep up the good work our friend.🚜
Ran a lot of equipment with multiple belt fan drives and never had to get matching belts. As long as they are all new belts and not mixed old and new it is never a problem. I would really look at the alternator mounting and also the fan drive to make sure everything is in alignment.
An international 886 new to me was popping belts. The belts were riding deep in the groove, the pulleys were not aligned perfectly, the edges must have caught causing the belt to flip off. Went from a half inch belt to a 5/8 inch belt, no more flipping belt.
You definitely should start carrying a box of rubber gloves and pair of mechanics gloves in your trucks. The gloves come in handy for the road side repairs or working on your tanker. Also you should start carrying some kind of hand cleaning wipes.
It was nice meeting you Chris! Hope to see you again in the future. I forgot to mention some times I deliver packages to your area with FedEx maybe we can get a farm tour sometime!
thats exactly what i say wuth turbo back spin. if enough air is getting though your engine to let the turbo spin then you have more problems then the turbo. pulled skidsteers thousands of miles with the exhaust into the wind not 1 single problem
Mr. Duffy, you are the best farmer so far that I know who is working on better the farmland and trying to teach others even though others are just talking you are at least trying to get things done to the best of your ability just keep it up and running the best way you know, how. You overcome the drama regarding your family's jealousy, of you making it a big-time farmer Mr. Duffy keeps growing and again look at what you have overcome since you got the farm and the growth of knowledge you have gotten so far. Sincerely! R.S.V.
Always look forward to your videos and as long as your truck works you buy what you can get at the time to keep it running you could run three different belts at once if that keeps it working
Chris you sure burn the candle at both ends, gates belts were very common on Macks in my day but when your dealing with older equipment sometime it’s great to just get parts when you can get them. Wild weather for sure seen that here in Saskatchewan many times as well. It’s been dry here go old Mother Nature decides for us unfortunately when your farming and i never say anything bad about rain…. However too much is not good either… great video keep up the hard work!!! Get the corn planted get in so your not harvesting in the snow and rain in late fall!!!!
Wait What???? Didn't you yell at the commentors that there was a stack sock in it that stack, the owner was using one eventhough you disagereed. Then at 18:19 in, the guy that owns the tractor pulls it out saying he had no clue why it was even in there and you said back, "Neither do I??????" You put the damn sock in there just so you could act like there was one there so you could nah nah nah naaaaah naaaaah nah those commentors.... wow
@@davdhynes3518 What's bothersome was the ease in which he blatently lied to the man that had just lent him that tractor. On monday there was a freak storm that caused a flash flood about 40 km from where I live. I dodged the bullet and got some small hail. But the folks where it hit the hardest got about 70 liters of rain, mixed with hail. All the ice was just floating everywhere. Cars where driving half submerged. In just two hours they got what would be a norm for a whole month.
Those duals look like they were run overinflated for years. lol. Round like a basketball. But anything is always better than nothing. And if it was a good deal even better. As you well know more floatation at the very least but they have some tread left
dude, you need Wypall waterless hand wipes in every truck and tractor you own, your hands are constantly filthy. i dont know how you stand it bro, you can use them on youre face too. i used them working for AT&T as a lineman. they work on grease, dirt, paint etc. get some youll thank me later👍
The chances that valves with stay open when you shut the tractor off to let enough air through to spin that turbo if that happens just go buy a lottery ticket and you'll soon pay for the new turbo you need.
Truth be told Coburn has his rain flapper on backwards anyway the hand should always be in the front and the flapper towards the rear high where you’re driving it or you’re hauling it if Liam or something catches it it doesn’t break it off. It just slams it shut as you found out Yourself on the 7520 and tree limb. But if it’s hing is in the front it doesn’t fly open when your hauling it pointed forward. Just sayin. I know it’s his tractor and he can do it his way on his tractor. I understand that.
@@davidwhisnant3230 that's not an original engine, has a oil cooler in the block on the left side. I have 2 4520, both stock except one I put a 46 intercooler on it but other then that stock. The one we have had sense it's had 2700 hours but both have around 9000 now

Hello Chris just had a issue with our truck. Running lights work signal but no brake lights. Was a bad ground. Have a good day.
20.8-42's would make that a completely different tractor. Put 20.8-42's on our 4450 changed it a lot
Came here to make that same suggestion and alot more tire options now a days in that size
Keep on keeping on....

Chris, you may need to machine the alt pulley, need to make sure the belts run inside the pulley

The experts that scream about covering exhaust very seldom if ever actually haul equipment
