Our farm is a mile west of where you bought the tractor from. You definitely spotted the Whites at our farm. Congratulations on getting your dream tractor.
What an awesome piece of history you saved!! Congrats! I know it will be a while, but I'm looking forward to seeing some maintenance and repair video's.
Congratulations Ethan! That 270 has found the perfect home! A 4-150 was my main tillage tractor from 1980 to 2000. But I then went the Versatile route, like it sounds like your 270's previous owners. For that tractor to stay in it's local area and will still be earning it's keep on your farm is heaven. For it and for you. Yeah....I'm jealous 😊 Congratulations
Many, many, great comments. We all knew this vision would become a reality one day. This one found a good home. Congratulations!. She's a beautiful machine.
Good for you Ethan. This machine will serve you very well. This is sure to last you for years based on your maintenance skills. Can't wait to see it Rollin dirt. Thanks for the post. Take care. Fred.
I'm glad to see the deal worked out, been waiting to hear about afyer the teaser episode...lol...nothing like the old iron, she's a beaut Clark...congrats on Eleanor
That's so sick man!!! Best decision you could have made buying that beauty! Also don't forget to put your 3 point down for winter storage... Them things stay up too much an eventually they wont ever go down again... Learned that the hard way with a JD 7810
Awesome man, its it a beautiful machine. Sometimes you just gotta make that crazy purchase for you. I did it last year and after getting over the anxiety of dropping that much on something you just want and do not need, I look back with no regrets. Looking forward to seeing you put her to work. And if you actually do clean it up and redo the paint you will have one of the best looking machines in your area.
Ethan, The time to buy something when it's rare is when you find it. Looks like you got some repairs and servicing to do but I think overall that sounds like it'll help you out a lot on the farm. 👍 Good luck 🍀🤞 with your new purchase. Thanks Michael
Kinda figured that what it was going to be! I have seen a few around Michigan and there is another. My 14 shank white 435 chisel plow would look good behind that! Can't wait to see it in the field!
That's an awesome story I've been waiting since you mentioned a new tractor was coming! Would be really cool if you could buy that experimental offset disc to pull with it
Holy moly mamma! That's awesome! You did good on that deal!To find your unicorn doesn't happen every day!Plus it went to a good home and will be put to good use!.Great content!
Congratulations on getting your tractor she looks a great machine will be great to see Eleanor working in the field eventually at some time in the future
Congratulations Oliver 66 Farm Boy, that is a Very Nice Looking Tractor You have Buy!!!!!! 😊👌👍👍👍👍👍💪💪💪💪💪.I'am a Fan to Schlüter Tractors and I also like Versatile Tractors and White Tractors To!!!!!
I don't think you will have any regret buying the tractor. Some people are into cars, some people are into collecting old tractors, etc., etc. Your passion for these tractors makes it totally the right thing to do in my opinion. At some point, you should be able to enjoy a few things that you work so hard for. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this tractor. You know, you're going to need bigger machinery now to match the tractor
I seen one in Kansas that had a canopy/overhanging roof with a pile of lights. It looked factory and I always wondered if it wasn’t and experimental roof setup. Really made the cab look nice.
Going need a 13 shank Glencoe.... 😂 Nice find! Tom schempfer from o'brien County IMPLEMENT in Sheldon Iowa was always good on parts for Oliver. He told us that to get a part for a 270, only salvage one was in Australia.... don't know if OBCI still do parts since they built new NH dealership building and moved
Awesome! Looks like a clean one tractor, dean had decals custom made for his 325, he’s probably got the info on them, but I’m sure you talked about that. And I’d like to make a correction the amount of 4-270s for sale. There were actually 4, there was one BigIron here in Nebraska that sold a week and a half ago. But it was non operational, and I had thoughts that this one was that one, but obviously not. Can’t wait to see her in the field!
Congrats on the purchase. You’ll need to do a video on how to get that style on shifter to work right and smooth. I’ve tried and failed. Some working words will be used shifting it.
That is Awesome to see you get this. I was wondering if you were getting one of these. Hope you Restore this & your 4-150. I enjoy watching you. I enjoy you using older White equipment more then the newer equipment. Keep doing what you do.
Congratulations, I remember Mt neighbor have one ND was using it till two years ago. He retired and had an auction, where it went from there, I don't know.
What a beauty. I life it's not always a need when the want is stronger. And it's a long-term investment that's going to be with you for a lift time and never going to devalue. We have to do these things when they are limited numbers to grab. I am looking forward to seeing more of her in the future.
Like JTs barn and grill said. I don’t always buy a tractor cause I need it, I buy it because I want it. Nice tractor and happy for you.
Can't think of a better home for it to go to, congrats man, you deserve it 👍
Congratulations, buddy! She's a beauty!!
Congratulations Ethan. This opens you up to the possibilities of more land.
Congrats Ethan!!!! She's definitely a beauty. You work hard so you definitely deserve it!!
Absolutely a great buy.
Congrats on finding Eleanor. That is a sweet addition to the farm.
Well done, she is in good home!

Nice find congrats on the new tractor you deserve it you should be proud
Congratulations Ethan!

I’m happy you found it
I like the straight 6 cat engines better than the v8s. 3306&3406 are sweet running engines
I figured this was what you bought. I remember you hinting around about it in a video. Congratulations! She is a power house.
Thats an awesome tractor bud. All i can say is wow
I'm glad to see the deal worked out, been waiting to hear about afyer the teaser episode...lol...nothing like the old iron, she's a beaut Clark...congrats on Eleanor

Nothing like that new tractor feeling. Congrats
Awesome! Absolutely awesome. So glad you are the one to get it, use it, and give it the upkeep it needs.
Like Dave Ramsey says…
”life is short, buy the tractor!”

Congrats, getting the working unicorn tractor for your working collection is always a joy. Hoping we'll see her working ground next season.

That is awesome to find on of those big horses. I have only seen one in person, some young man around our area found 1 a few years ago. Awesome find
Top bloke. Good luck with the new toy.
Congrats there bud you deserve a tractor like that you work so hard
That’s a beautiful piece of engineering in great condition and I really liked the story about you getting it
Awesome tractor congrats. I'm from Quebec and I know of one in my area.
Congratulations! It might not have been the right time to buy but how often does this opportunity come about? Hardly ever! She's a beast!
Glad you got something you really wanted, even if you didn't "need" it! She looks like a pretty straight old girl!
Congratulations Oliver 66 Farm Boy, that is a Very Nice Looking Tractor You have Buy!!!!!! 😊👌👍👍👍👍👍💪💪💪💪💪.I'am a Fan to Schlüter Tractors and I also like Versatile Tractors and White Tractors To!!!!!

Congrats!
That is one hell of a sexy looking tractor just can't beat the old stuff
They do make pre formed cab kits, more money but makes install sooooo much easier. Worst part is prep work cleaning old material.
She's a beauty ethan great name!
I seen one in Kansas that had a canopy/overhanging roof with a pile of lights. It looked factory and I always wondered if it wasn’t and experimental roof setup. Really made the cab look nice.
I like your new toy Looks good Clark. Your buddy from Nebraska be safe out there
Going need a 13 shank Glencoe.... 😂
Nice find!

I'm glad you got the three point package. Too me a bareback tractor isn't a whole tractor. There's just less options for a bareback. 👍👍
Nice find!!!!
Nice to see the old crap taken care of of by a good guy. If it’s meant to be it’s meant to be
Congratulations!!!! Looking forward to seeing her do some tillage.
Nice buy Ethan! Like it that you already named her too.
Congrats on the purchase. You’ll need to do a video on how to get that style on shifter to work right and smooth. I’ve tried and failed. Some working words will be used shifting it.
What a beast I see a 30 foot disc purchase wish we was watching this and high definition that would be nice
Nice!! Congratulations remember you talking about one of these beasts years ago when you were in college making videos with glasses
Big time farming now, all you need is a 9700 LOL, congrats on the new tractor
Cool find should be fun running that one
This would be perfect for the soil finisher.
That is Awesome to see you get this. I was wondering if you were getting one of these. Hope you Restore this & your 4-150. I enjoy watching you. I enjoy you using older White equipment more then the newer equipment. Keep doing what you do.

Good for you....happy for you...
Very nice 👌. Neighbor farmed with one up here in northern Canada until his passing a couple years ago. I dont know where it went.
Tractor came from my part of the world! Probably Athens Oliver.
I wonder what tires would cost? Maybe 20000?

Congratulations a great vid and story could not get anything done till the end.
The way your going to treat that tractor is the way I treat my 2001 Jeep wrangler probably exactly the same way
