I've lived in Canada, the U.S., Saudi Arabia, and spent months at a time in the Philippines. All I can say is that there is no perfect place to live. Every country has it's challenges. Yes, it is stressful living in the West but there is plenty opportunity to make money and things can be much more convenient....but it is very expensive. Car insurance, house insurance, mortgage payments, car payments, paying a company to plow your driveway every winter, putting on and taking off your winter tires every year, heating your house, air conditioning your house, orthodontic braces for your kids, federal income tax, provincial income tax, city taxes, and many more monthly expenses. Life is simpler in the Philippines but the lack of money puts a lot of stress on families. Unemployment in the Philippines drives many fathers to drink and stay out with his friends. However, in Canada and the U.S. both parents must work in order to afford their monthly expenses and this causes stress on the family unit. Education is free in Canada up until college or university and healthcare is provided by your taxes so you never have to worry about paying for healthcare. Winters are cold and challenging in Canada but then again you have to worry about typhoons in the Philippines. Life is not easy no matter where you live. One needs to find happiness from within and not from outside sources.
3:08 Burning of garbage including leaves is prohibited (Ecological Solid Waste Management Act and Clean Air Act), though not strictly enforced in the provinces.
That's something that a lot of Filipinos will never understand, outside the Philippine is a tougher life compared out there. Cause in order to be able to survive in Canada or US you almost have to have a 2nd job just to make ends meet. There's no tricycle to bring you to work for cheap nor jeepneys.
THATS WHY CANADA N USA OR OTHER COUNTRIES IS JUST TO WORK N SAVE WHILE STILL YOUNG..N WERE VERY HAPPY IN THE PHIL'S,,TOO RELAXING N FRESH FOODS ...THNKS...
It really is more Fun Family Friends in the Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤️Now that I am a senior citizen I love to just relax and avoid the stress for the rest of my life.😄❤️
I got u, guys.. it only makes sense to seek the ideal place to raise kids & have peace of mind. Can't go wrong living a no-worry, carefree life having good health, each other & enjoying fresh air, & the beach 🏖... to me, that's 'perfect'...
I have been following your vlogs for over a week now and loved how you view happiness 😊. Would you mind if I reach out to one of you privately on fb? We are planning to move back to San Juan La Union as well.
I am happy to hear you talking taglish in your vlog. Continue doing it. Perhaps puede ni salitang ng Ilocano words paminsan minsan. I am from Luna/Bangar, LU and I thought , gusto ko iting channel nyo kasi upapakita nyo ang ganda ng province ko. Kaya lang medyo na lungkot ako kasi aside from you talking in English, I had difficulty understanding what you n your husband were saying. mabilis pa kayong magsalita with Canadian accent. 11:0211:0211:02 is na
i was so sad with all the trash strewn across the path to the waterfalls( Aurora Province) that all I did was to pick up those plastics along the way. That was my contribution to the betterment of people's attitude!
Unbelievable sunset snaps!!!! Ganda grabe! I get you and your definition. All about perspective. Tama yan. Minus distractions, urban vibe, in tentional life... tama yan. Pero Guys, we have a law against burning waste. Ecological Solid Waste Management Act. Go to your barangay and request lang active campaigning against that. The law includes waste segregation in the home, tapos may Material Recovery Facility. Dun yung bote hiwalay sa biodegradable and toxic. Your barangay or municipal LGU should be in the forwfeont of this campaign.baka mahiya sila sa inyo at magtino kung ilapit nyo concern. Kasi nakaka asthma yan. Air pollution. I cant stand that.
I love to live near the sea. Thats a simple life for me. In the province, expect some neighbors who are so burara in the environment. Some are undisciplined. We will just show good example instead to make them follow our actions.
DENR prohibits burning of leaves, trash, etc…. in some areas 1 tawag lang ang Denr But the pagsisiga i think drive the mosquitoes away I put my 1st child at daycare when he was 3 1/2 para may social life, naawa ako sa kanya walang kalaro and i was pregnant with my 2nd dat time…..it was a difficult pregnancy I suggest u try to speak few words of ilocano with the locals uray no agtiritir ti dila (even if the tongue twists)
I think the problem stems from the fact that some barangays garbage is only picked up ones a month. Some families can pay to have garbage picked up every week but what about the other homes who are forced to burn or burry their garbage because they pile up. This is sad, i have to bring this up to the barangay and be more active in the community. Emm can speak slight ilocano and hope we can all learn at some point.
Love that sunset!❤
As long as you are an intact family. You should be fine.
I missed my homeland and the golden hour….sunset and sunrise
