It's just insane (to me) to drop that kind of money on a perfume when the Middle Eastern perfumes are just as good, if not better. I'm not talking about a dupe of it because I don't even know if a dupe is available but I've become spoiled by the ME fragrances and feel really dumb for buying expensive perfumes in the past. I can't see myself ever doing that again. But I do appreciate the review. Thank you for sharing ♥
Amouage is a Middle Eastern fragrance.But, I respect what you are saying.

When I first smelled Delina Exclusif, I purchased it and didn't wear anything else for 4 years! This is my experience with Guidance and Guidance 46. I do not want to wear anything else, and when I do, I can't wait to get back home to spray it again. I love them both so much. I love them both. I have over 350 perfumes. Guidance definitely is one of a kind. You have to be able to appreciate this very niche brand. All of there releases are so different but very well blended. They all take you on a different journey. Love the house of Amouage.
I finally I got my nose on Guidance 46 and I completely agree. It’s just easier to wear. Love at first sniff.

Tested it twice. Once on paper and this week on skin. Own the OG. Can't justify the price for the 46. I could care less about the bottle. The new bottle is prettier, but I don't display my fragrances so I can keep the quality over time. I'd rather pay $520 on a Guerlain. Especially since the same day I tested 46 on my skin I retested Vanilla Panifloria by Guerlain. Just gorgeous.
Love your review! I’m so glad that you mentioned layering guidance the original. I absolutely wear it with other things every single time. My go to combo is Guidance, Teriaq,and Mango Skin… It sounds crazy, but it smells amazing.!
Love love the original Guidance. I recently tried 46 and I can say without a doubt that the original is my #1 fragrance. I love the beast mode and longevity of the fragrance.

I sold my Guidance from Scentbird and I kind of miss it. The buyer asked if she could try a spray before buying.
It smelled so unique and nice in the air. I’ve used it once and didn’t know the potency of it. I did three sprays, went to work and was choking myself out all day. I haven’t tried it on myself since 😂
I kind of wish I had held on to the decant.
Omg I think it’s such a stable and definitely worth keeping. I find it’s a scent that you can revisit a few times during different seasons

Initially, I did not like the OG. I purchased 46 and fell in love, it was sort of a gateway to the OG because now I enjoy the OG very much. I layer both Guidance and Guidance 46 with the Guidance Body lotion and there is not a day that ppl don't ask me what I'm wearing 💕 It's extremely recognizable which is perfect for a signature. They are both my signature scents. Guidance 46 does have a hefty price tag but I'd pay it over and over again. 💕
I find these scents are so complex that it takes some time to understand, especially if you are not used to how amouage does fragrances. Always so unique!
Guidance is my holy grail fragrance but I can’t get over the price of Guidance 46.
The only difference is that 46 is creamier.. but besides that there is very little difference. The OG is probably better ❤
@@patr70it’s weird, guidance is my obsession, i got 46 but it pulls more rosey, woody and generic on my skin. It’s a real flop and boring for me

I actually love the opening and then the dry down is just perfection! A beautiful journey with this scent

A lot of times I like to smell individual notes, especially after I read the notes that I love I like to pin point them out in a perfume
Totally understand that. I honestly enjoy when it’s blended so well I can’t smell each note. I want them to all come together and jar create a feeling
I have tried the OG and the initial spray was beautiful but toward the middle end it was nauseating for me. It lasted on my clothes for days. But i hear guidance 46 is easier to wear. I may consider purchasing it.
If you love the original you might be disappointed. It’s not a patch on the original imo.

I have the original and I don't wear it a lot but I ALWAYS get compliments and someone asking me to write down the name for them.
That price point of the new one though 😅. The old was bad enough. So even if I like it, I will just be doing samples

I sampled the first one it a but strong but nothing that will make me buy it
I did not like Guidance. Smells like vajeen to me 😫. BUT it smells EXPENSIVE (if that even makes sense) and the longevity/projection is wild! I can smell it on my clothes for daaaaays.

How others spend their hard earned money is no one’s business to judge! Money is subjective, and everyone has a different financial situation. If a $500 bottle of perfume makes you happy and you have the money for it, do you!
