What Talent and creative people to design vehicals that look beautiful to this day, with so many choices, it's hard to believe there was actually a time like that in America never to return again.

Ah back when General Motors were the King of the Hill. Pontiacs always did have the best styling in my opinion. It's amazing all the models that were offered with the Catalina, Bonneville and Grand Prix. So many different models with added badges. Even the Catalina 2 + 2. And all the interior color choices. Amazing! Too bad the film is in black and white. I'd love to see what that three-tone Aqua interior looked like in color lol! Yea Aqua was really big back in the early sixties. Yes I really loved Pontiac styling especially the sixties. Anyway thanks for posting. I enjoyed it. Peace out.

Pontiac led the industry in styling in the '60s, which I think was GM's plan. I believe industry insiders did regard these cars as the best looking then. I grew up with these. I never thought cars would turn to ugly later on starting with the '80s.

By my point of view, Bonneville/Catalina/GP MY 1965 are among the best looking land yachts ever made

Justin, Thanks for the comment. During the '64 model year, Pontiac sent film reals out to the dealers for salesman training. These are part of a literature collection that I found a few years ago. The videos here were originally on vinyl LP's and film. They were then converted to a digital format. There are several more to go, I just need to get them uploaded.

WOW, I am 64 now and remember a neighbor several streets over who bought a 1970 Bonneville brougham with the 455, I think it was bigger than his house, he would have a few beers then leave rubber in the street

When I was a kid, I helped some of my friends push one of those after it got stuck on the street during a snowstorm. And trust me it WAS bigger than a house! lol

The Bonneville Brougham was a precursor to full size sedans moving up in luxury - a year before both the LTD and Caprice. Indeed for years the Bonneville Brougham (and then Grand Ville) were as good as you could get from GM before moving up to the C body, and they often had nicer interiors than the base Electra and 98 too. Top trim Pontiacs always gave you a little 'extra' - we had a neighbor who swore by them even though he could have afforded the larger cars. (In the end though, the Marquis Brougham got him, little more money but even more plush)

In 64 you didn't see a lot of those 8 lug wheels back when Pontiac competed in Nascar.
